Gears 2 + Fable 2's sales in ONE MONTH = all fall ps3 sales

Will anyone else argue with that?

All of gears of war 2's sales + Fable 2's sales in one month from release will be more than

R2 + LBP+ Motorstorm+ socom+ VC

well not counting bundles I could argue that Gears 2 lifetime sales will be greater than all of those combined lifetime sales

Gears 1- 5 Million and that was 2 YEARS AGO

Resistance 1 was bundled so im not sure how you can count all the sales ( 3 mil according to VG chartz)

Socom flopped hard

LBP hasnt been recieving spectacular sales

I cant see Motorstorm and VC selling over 1M ( first one was bundled also)

Its no doubt that Fable 2 and Gears 2 will be massive sellers for the 360 and will most likely outsell any PS3 game (Especially Gears). But I think its going a bit far to say that they will outsell the whole PS3 line up.MrSlippery39

idk I mean just think why would R2 sell a lot w/o bundles? Its been mentioned everywhere it doesnt have that appeal for casual players to get the sales of fable and gears

Socom could hit 1m if it wasnt crappy

Motorstorm type games will never sell over 1m

LBP coudl hit 1-2m but its been getting crappy sales recently

But you know gears will easily sell 2-3M in the first month PLUS fable 2 selling 1m in 1 week I expect 2m in a month

So 5M for those 2 games

2M for LBP

1m for R2

that leaves Motorstorm+socom+VC to sell 2m which wont happen

COD4 sodl something like 11 million and those same type of people that play cod4 a lot will play gears 2 THATS WHY GEARS 1 SOLD 5.28 MILLION

yes but that is not what you call a casual. call of duty fans are not casuals they are hardcore shooter fans.

gears is a hardcore shooter too.

Of course Resistance has it's hardcore fanbase, as does any game. However the first one was pretty average to be honest, not a patch on many of the other shooters out at the same time as it and up til now. Resistance 2 is gonna have to have some pretty decent improvements if its going to be a success.

Possibly me mate, not too up to date on the ps3's releases at the moment. Whats the changes gonna be? I heard maybe huge online games but to me that may cause alot of lag and therefore not the best idea in the world. libertycityBA

Resistance 2 has some great improvements over its predecessor is what I'm trying to say. The game is out you know. Check out the review here on GS.

Yes, no cow cares about sales, until the PS3 starts to outsell anything. So now we can establish PS3 is still in 2rd in hardware sales and still can't sell software, but somehow won 2008, Man cows sure are deluded...

:lol: Who in here is on the MS payroll or have stock with them? If you don't please don't talk sales. It seems like the 9 that GS rated for R2 really hurt the hearts of some fan boys. Today I have seen some desperate topics and yes this topic is the definition of desperate since there is no proof or sale figures that can claim that these games are on track to sell more than the PS3 line up.

Hey at least we can say that Wii sports will sell more than the whole 360's 2008 line up :lol:
