The PS3 hit is peak two years ago.

While I don't really care that much about graphics (gameplay is far more important), the graphics king right now is Crysis. After playing the demo on medium, it just looked amazing.

That and, in all seriousness, i honestly dont think HS looks better than Gears. The character model is awesome, but when you look up close at the textures, everything falls to pieces.

Out of all the games that are out and coming out I just don't have time for lackluster games. And HS is one of them.

Before my XBOX got the RROD, I booted up Gears of War for the first time since Halo 3 came out (and a little before that), and the graphics were amazing. I was on the verge of passing the torch from Gears to Heavenly Sword or another later release, but after seeing the graphics for those 5 minutes that my XBOX worked, I was honestly blown away, and just from the thought of how much it gets bashed here.

There is a reason every game challenges it for its title of graphics king. Too bad graphics don't make a game nor a console, so get over it.

Really, I know its going to get better than gears for 360. There's no reason this gen would be different for any of the current consoles than it was for previous gens. Start slow, best is at the end.

Well to be fair they were using Unreal's/Bioshocks engine they just released it early.. From what I hear they got alot of legal crap from it too.
