Gears of War 2 80% 360 power

ok i will be honest i have no idea how much of the total power gears 2 is using but i just want to point and laugh at all the fanboys saying that gears 1 tapped the 360. i think Gears 2 looks 2-3 times better than the first one, when you consider the happenings on screen, advanced AI, destructable physics and the already smooth framerate Epic is really pushing the 360 to most likely its limits.

the playing field has been leveled Gears 2= Killzone 2 graphically. lets see what Guirilla has been up to but Gears 2 will be the better e by a mile.

For those that say Gears 2 is not an improvement (graphically from Gears 1) look at that Locust Sinkhole mission gameplay. Holy f---. The lighting, the framerate, the amount of enemies on screen, the sound, and the overall sharpness of the graphics are SOO much better than Gears 1.

Also they're gunna ride a friggen BRUMAK! Come ON!

(and Reavers as well, but they're not as epic as brumaks)

What? Gears 2 looks like 3% better than the first Gears, but it has a lot of more enemies on screen. It certainly doesn't look like as good as Killzone 2, fanboys can keep dreaming.Mardil

i think you might want to watch this again, atm gears 2 looks better but we have yet to see the newest build of Killzone 2 but i can't imagine much improvement since that last game conference in may. just accept that both consoles get great looking flagship games, but Gears' 3rd person gameplay is unserpassed imo

don't be biased, they are both shooters and are exclusive to their console and the best way to judge a consoles power is by comparing exclusive titles not multiplats. people are to quick to write of KZ2 because of its predecessor but i think 2 will be solid. and graphically its very comparable with gears 2.

That was really random but I will agree, Uncharted is one of my favorite games this gen and Uncharted 2 is going to be amazing. As for the 360 and Gears of War 2 its going to be great, I loved the first one but it gave me migrains if I did not take a break every hour which sucked. It looks to have by far passed up what Gears 1 has done but and this is a big But I feel bad for those who have the original release systems, because with a game like this many of them will probably begin to fail - imo - my system was from day one and worked great - few problems from time to time - but I really noticed a slowdown when I played COD4 - the loading of the system and how live ran on it just were not up to par with how it had originally worked when it was released - old systems might struggle with this game - mine is being repaired as i write this due to RROD. I believe these games are begining to push the systems limits which could be causing the failures - I could be wrong - As for Killzone 2 it also looks amazingand those who put it down, check out some vids, it might turn out pretty good.

I don't think Gears 2 looks that much better than the first. I actually like the first better graphically in some areas. KZ2 pwns Gears 2 though, no doubt.
