The publisher owns the rights to publish the game, and can farm out a port if they want... it's happend with alot of games in the past.

I don't know if you heard, but "Gears of War" creator CLIFFORD BLESZINSKI said he doesn't want to be called Cliffy B. He wants us to type and say CLIFFORD BLESZINSKI, he said the reason why is it's time for him to grow up.

However, upon hearing this news, "God of War" Creator SCOTT JAFFE announced he would no longer like to be called SCOTT JAFFE, but instead would like to be called CLIFFY B, now.

most hermits dont want gears anyways. the first one sucked for pc, regardless of the score here. halo 2 sucked too. pc standards are just much higher you can keep your crappy gears i'll be too busy playing crysis warhead or fear2:project origin(when it comes out that is)

Lest we forget Levine's adamant claims of "Bioshock is exclusive to 360" without clarifying whether or not the exclusivity was timed or not.

Microsoft ported geow to pc bec they thought they will get some customes for their crappy live servic which was pay to play at that time.But smart pc ppl choosed to not to buy the game itself rather than paying for crap live service.This kinda stuff only works for console ppl where they easily give for microsofts arm twisting tactics and then call XBL the greates thing on planet.

Not to mention geow was reallly a terrible port
