Gears of War 2. No PC version?

Does this mean you are planning a Windows version of "Gears of War 2"?

Cliff: Gears of War is a great franchise first and foremost for Xbox 360, and therefore we're focusing on that platform for Gears of War 2. We've decided we're not going to do a PC version this time around.

Wow, this is interesting. I really enjoyed the PC version as much as the Xbox 360 one.

well they were saying similar things before gears launched. then there was complete denial for about 8 months. then a year later the PC version came out. so ill take that with a pinch of salt.

however gears on PC did very poorly from what i hear (what did they expect from a game that was a year late?). so maybe they actually wont bother.

but for now..the salt supplement applies i think.

Not at all. The really hardcore hermits on this forum claim to hate Gears,and the rest of them have 360's.

Get real people.He is only saying it so people who would be willing to wait for the vastly superior version will pick up the 360 version and then the PC version whenever it comes.An indirect response to that question would obviously mean that ya there will be a PC version.

This really is a no win situation. Ciffy says its not coming to PC, so hermits laugh and say he's lying. If the game never comes to the PC, hermits dont care, it was overated trash anyway, they have much better games to be playing. If it does go to PC, lemmings am owned, all the hermits will be playing the superior version.

Exactly. I personally would never wait for a game that long knowing its out on another platform, even if it is a little prettier with higher frame rates.

We got GeoW , we got Mass effect and well got GTA4 soon... Tell me about GeoW2 PC version again in 6 months or something.

Gears of War on PC was a broken game out of the box for many people.. It was so bad I couldn't even boot the freakin game on an ATI vid card out of the box.. took community hacks to get it to just boot until months of waiting for patches..
