It's made by the same people who made Alien Hominid. It's 4-player co-op sidescrolling adventure game and it looks pretty fun.

Rfom2 will wipe the floor with this game.

the thing is gears 2 and ninja gaiden 2 are sequels to AAA games but only MGS in your list is sequel to AAA games.

wait a minute, I will give you MGS, but come on. you can't knock Gears compared to Killzone! resistence is going to be nice, no doubt about it, but to just dismiss gears, which had more critical acclaim then both Killzone1 and Resistence1 is just being fanboyish. :P

ok ok, I see your point. While Killzone is a unproven game, I still think its going to be better than people think. Resistence was great and the sequel should be better. But you have to admit, when you compare MGS 4 to GEOW 2, its a very tuff battle.

honestly dude, I think we will all live, and how do you get screwed? by the time PC owners get it with extra levels, we will have moved on to the next game, don't think its that big of a deal, but if it really upsets you, I guess I will have to respect that.

I replayed gears a couple of times. It was a great game. At least if they gave us the option to download the new content I would've been happy.

Fable 2 is a sequel to a game that, while good, didnt nearly live up to its hype and was a AA game.

Too Human was soooo close to vaporware a little while back that its either going to bomb hard or be awesome.

and Banjo 3 I believe is going to be like another Perfect DarK Zero. A game where rare tried hared to recapture the N64 Glory days but failed miserably.

Expect this game to be a rushed piece because epic is still making ut3. Even if they had another team working on it they havnt been fully focused on making gears.killerkane246

2 years seems like enough time for a sequel. This is awesome news, now only if there were a trailer or some screens.

Cmon man, yes I did see all the news on Resistance 2 and all sounds great but for real man. this is Epic's baby now on the 360 and rumors of them becoming a part of MS studios just may turn out to be fact - consider what will be pulled outta the hat this time around. ;)

These are two different types of games we're talking about. I personally liked Gears about 100x more than I did Resistance; I've got plenty of shooters of Resistance's calibre, but I don't have many that play like Gears. And if they increased the number of players online in Gears, I'd still prefer the online to most FPS games, because Gears has a pretty special feel to it.

Also, just because it's based on the same engine doesn't mean the graphics will look identical. Have you seen the character models in Mass Effect? That's the UT3 engine too.

This was inevitable really, only a matter of time.

I really cant see Epic becoming owned by MS. They would probaly stick with 360 and PS3 games. Imagine what there new Engine would look like running on 360 and PS3?

It's not going to look anywhere close to what you see in the preview. It may look like 1.5 times better than the original gears though.

When they say that they mean console exclusive. They don't view the PC and console as the same market apparently. I.E you cannot get it on ps3 or on wii.

Yeah, the multiplayer is pretty special. By "special", I mean "riding the short bus onto your console".

:P But seriously, the multiplayer is really great, but it's totally held back by host advantage and the sheer amount of glitching going on. Epic really needs to fix the online technical aspects.
