Gears of War 2 vs Ps3

That is your assessment. But some people just dont like the type of gameplay in gears. I personaly love Halo 3 and Resistance. Both are awesome... Gears just appeals to people with a different style of gameplay.

PS3 has two other games in recent times that have scored,

and another game that scored 10...

Well ya, your kinda right, the ps3 doesnt have a tps that beats gears, the only 2 are uncharted-good graphics,fun,to short, no multiplayer.

I think when he says no game that can compare to gears , he means the type of game in general, as in "no game on ps3 is like gears" because seriously there isnt a better 3rd person shooter on the ps3. So ya no ps3 game can compare with gears.jeezers

Exactly. And having played both games, I personally like Uncharted better. It has a better story, and the graphics are unbelievable.

But I like Gears as well. Too bad I don't have a 360 anymore.

Gears of War 2 destroys anything the PS3 has as far as games go .

uncharted is good , but with no multiplayer, and a short campain , im gonna say gears is the better game

Again, one game would have to be pretty special to outdo an entire platform to me, especially a major platform.

I would say GeoW2 > Virtual Boy or something like that, but that might be about it.

Of course the PS3 has no games that can compare to GoW2, that's a PS2 game. GoW3 won't be out till next year SILLY! :P

I guess you could compare R2 to GeoW2. They're both generic, big budget blockbuster, world-in-peril, alien invasion shooters with a cool/fun campaign when you first play through. I haven't played Gears 2 yet, but I'm sure its probably Gears 1 with some better scripted events (which is not a bad thing). R2 is a lot different than RFoM, but for the better. I certainly wouldn't demonstrate my extreme nerdiness by lining up at gamestop at midnight for either game.

I wouldn't hold up Gears 2 as the best 360 has to offer. There are much better, more original titles than a generic (albeit fun) shooter.
