Gears of War 3 in production?? (Epic working on unanounced game confirmed)

hmmmm....Hopefully if it's Gears 3 they spend A LOT of time fixing it. I love the series personally

Sounds good. If they really are working on Gears 3 now there is a good chance it'll come out next year.

Please no. Gears 2 was and is still atrocious.

If they're going to release this game in the same year as Halo Reach, Bad Company 2, probably Resistance 3 and a few other shooters, they better release a beta. Five title updates in less than a year, and you're game is still a complete and utter unbalanced mess, it's just unacceptable. Beta or I won't even acknowledge this game is being released.

The giant worm level was great. There does not need to be some complicated device that sinks cities. I see nothing wrong with the simplicity of a giant worm. Plus, it was very fun cutting it's organs.

That part was funny, but the story in Gears 2 was definitely an improvement over the first one.

Epic also got this "It's coming and it's Unreal" game, but this might be People Can Fly prodution

It's gotta be Gears 3. 2009 was a relatively quiet year for MS. 2010 they have to have Gears 3 and more at the ready if they want to even stay in the conversation with what the PS3 is releasing. CyanX73

Assuming this is the same thing they were teasing a month or two a go it probably has something to do with UE4, which means they'll want a PC version (why release a new engine just to show what it can do on a 4+ year old console?), which means it's more likely Unreal 3, UT4 or a new IP.

Gears 3 isn't coming out in 2010. There's no way MS would let Reach and Gears cannibalize each other's sales.

No it wouldn't. Halo and Gears have their fanbase, either you like one or you like the other.

For anyone who likes both, they're in the minority and most likely are just "casual" gamers and will buy both regardless.

As much as i want Gears3 as soon as possible, i would prefer to see it coming at next Xbox launch using Unreal Engine 4. It would be epic!!

Heh, if it is I'm not buying. I think I'm done with the Gears franchise.

360: Mass Effect 2 and Splinter Cell (console exclusive to the 360)+ Crackdown 2, Fable 3, Gears 3 and Halo Reach.. Doubt they'll all be released on the same year though..:?

PS3: God of War 3 and GT5 are the only exclusives we know for SURE will be coming out next year with MAYBE Resistance 3.. That's really all I can think of unless Twisted Metal makes a come back.

How did you forget Alan Wake for the 360. There is no word of a PC version coming anytime soon after.

I hope its gears 3 and I hope they give me some damn dedicated servers this time around. I would still be playing gears 1/2 and paying for my xbox live if I didn't have to suffer with the stupid bullet lag and host advantage.

i love gears 2 soo much. they fixed a lot of the problems and it pretty much runs flawless. i hope it is gears 3!!!!! i cant wait for the vga's for when the big announcement comes!
