Gears of War 3 in production?? (Epic working on unanounced game confirmed)

I think people can fly will release their game this year. And gears of war 3 next year. Microsoft would never have a year in which they don't have either halo, or gears of war game. It would be silly to have both games in the same year imo.

I thought everyone knew Gears Of War was supposed to be a trilogy?...( i think a trilogy..)

The giant worm level was great. There does not need to be some complicated device that sinks cities. I see nothing wrong with the simplicity of a giant worm. Plus, it was very fun cutting it's organs.

to be fair they spent a lot of time fixing gear 2. its pretty much flawless now.

And theoretically ODST came out this year. Gears, Halo 3, Gears 2, ODST. This could very well be the year both release in the same year.

It can't be a prequel there are lots of unanswered questions in Gears 2.

They're going to ruin it on their own.

They want it to be a tactical shooter which just doesn't work. You can't have "tactical" gameplay with regenerating health. That's almost as dumb as trying to put out a fire with gasoline.

From my point of view the Gears series definitely needs a break. I wouldn't mind a new IP. Cliff opened his mouth about the future of shooters being related with RPG elements, so perhaps Epic will do something along those lines.

I'd rather see them bring unreal tournament back to its former glory.

Three games in a generation? I guess it's okay but I would rather that they try another project and save Gears 3 for next generation. NAPK1NS

Things are different this generation, because the gen is longer. If Gears 3 pushes out 2011 then 3 games in 5 years is not so bad. I'm sure by that time Uncharted 3 will be out and no one will say it's milkage.

Please no. Gears 2 was and is still atrocious.

If they're going to release this game in the same year as Halo Reach, Bad Company 2, probably Resistance 3 and a few other shooters, they better release a beta. Five title updates in less than a year, and you're game is still a complete and utter unbalanced mess, it's just unacceptable. Beta or I won't even acknowledge this game is being released.

Final Fantasy XIII is on both consoles. Versus hasn't had any announcements whatsoever.http://www.joystiq.com/2009/07/08/bioware-ea-owns-mass-effect-ip-translation-it-could-still-com/Mass Effect 1 & 2 is a Xbox 360 and PC exclusive. But as someone like myself who owns both consoles and "a in the process" gaming PC, I will enjoy all.
