Impressive! Love how the hud proves Gears pic is like 10% of the whole screen :o
We all know Perfect Dark Zero is the best looking game ever created anyway...
tormentos
Not even close..
was joking obviously. the guy i quoted was using moded Duke Nukem 3D vs a zoomed small piece of a Gears 3 pic to try to have a point lol
[QUOTE="navyguy21"][QUOTE="tormentos"]And the fire in Gears of war 3 is compose of spinning textures, the water look like glaze, has no reaction to bullets almost every where, while Uncharted 3 one will even get drake wet, sand that actually stick to drake. Gears 3 characters which include Gears and enemies had less details, that in Gears 1,enemies vanish as soon as you kill them, and many explode in the air so that the engine could render some more. Basically Gears is a game made of trade off,the fact that fire effects are spinning textures which was done last gen on PS2 games to simulate fire pretty much show how big the trade off are, hell the game doesn't even have AA and has tons of jaggies. You can ask here are several poster who saw the video i posted of the spinning textures to simulate fire.mems_1224Dude, no one listens to your sony fanboy drivel. You should either stop posting are create yet another troll account. i agree with this more than i do the threadSays one of the biggest m$ fanboy.
[QUOTE="RandomWinner"]We have a winner. Actually, I find both Uncharted 2 and Gears of war 3 equal; regardless of there hard comparison Gears of war 3 seems to have the polish of that of Uncharted 2 in which Uncharted 3 lacks. And Uncharted 2 is a better game than both of them :P.

Or you could just buy something like ATI Radeon HD 6770 for like $80-100 that maxes out Crysis at a good framerate and add it to your current PC... Wouldn't you have to pay an additional 60-100 for a power supply also?[QUOTE="UNcartMe"]i know! imagine buying a $250 PC with a game that looks as good as UC3. That would be the day.Messiahbolical-
Regardless if you think UC looks better than Gears, it is far from fugly, unless you don't have your contacts or glasses on. Maybe you're playing it on a SDTV? If you get a chance, play it on a HDTV.Sorry bro Gears 3 is fugly, go back to playing Kinect games.

haha. I love how the TC comes up with good points and reasons but fanboys come in and say "You're arguments are ridiculous" Yet none of these idiots have the brains to come up with a good reason as to why the TC is wrong, so they just cover their ears and go nanana, I'm not listening!racing1750
Not saying the TC is wrong. But, I still would like to see screenies considering the title has a 56k warning. I expect spamming and all the good eye candy.

Not being smart or sarcastic, just curious because I have a old HP slimline, I think it is a S7300n, that has the Nvidia on board graphics card , which is very weak . The processor is ok, with a AMD dual core and I upgraded the ram. I seen that I could get some decent low profile video cards for it, but some were saying I had to get a 400watt power supply. There were a slight few that didn't say whether or not it was required, so I'm hoping they don't require it. Do you know of any that don't , that could possible fit a slimline cased HP.[QUOTE="godzillavskong"][QUOTE="Messiahbolical-"] Or you could just buy something like ATI Radeon HD 6770 for like $80-100 that maxes out Crysis at a good framerate and add it to your current PC...

In your case, you have an OEM PC which is a totally different equation from say, a DIY PC case. A 6770 would be out of the question for you because:
1. A 5770 is a pretty hefty card. My Sapphire 5770 is a bit bigger than my Gigabyte GTX 560 Ti and also takes up the equivalent of two slots. I see no reason to think a 6770 would be much smaller.
2. OEM PCs tend to have lower-power PSUs, usually below 400w. Most PSUs which are included with DIY mid-tower cases tend to be at least 400-450w.
Edit: I saw a 6670 at newegg.com which may fit your case.

Thanks bro. I have two HP slimline PCs which my sons use and I wanted to upgrade them so they could at least play games at maybe medium settings. They both have Xbox 360s but they also like to occasionally play on the PC. I see the PCI slot, I guess that's what you call it, I just don't want to order these graphics card, then have to order a power supply also X 2. I think I seen a ATI Radeon 4650 low profile, which looks like it will do the trick, and isn't that expensive, but I'm not sure if it requires a upgraded power supply?Cool . Correction. ATi Radeon 4350 low profile. It only has 512mb though, so I'm not sure if that is any good or not?I "considered" being a PC gamer. So, I purchase a $400 graphic card. It finally arrived. Would that be a convenient way? It turns out that due to my computer's mother-board, and the MJNIOR modifiers... and blahblahblahblah.
Good gracious, being a PC gamer is inconvenient. Buying a $250 Xbox, or Playstation 3. that already comes with what I need is more convenient that screwing up another computer. I'm sure a PC gamer could spend 5 billion dollars to create a game that has the graphics of "Rush Hour 2." But, no. Not worth it.

This is one of the biggest problems with OEM PCs. You'll have to google the PC HP Slimline Model number and find the specs. i'd say they're probably less than 400w or even 300w. Plus, it's probably a non-standard PSU which means you may be out of luck trying to get a better PSU.

lol there is no way that is a powerhouse pc. it may be good, but not even close to powerhouse, unless you upgraded it. and secondly ugh at desktops, who has time for those things? You kidding me? Desktops rock and are best for PC gaming, surely not laptops or Onlive.[QUOTE="UNcartMe"][QUOTE="Calvin079"] LOL no. I paid 750 for everything; and it was a pre-built lol.
