Gears 4 was build on top of the Gears 3 engine, the next gears game will blow minds. This is the Coalition first gears game they had to play it safe somewhat. The game looks great though for their first attempt at.
I delighted Mattrick is gone. We would never have be getting 35 multiplayer maps for free if he was still in charge! Gears is great value for the money you pay.

Sorry if you mistake my honest opinion for fanbooyism but I judge every game in an individual basis, Gears 4 just looks bad man, that's not hate that's just where it sits when I look at it.

All have way better graphics than anything on xb1 or pc, for me its about graphical detail on screen
Resolution is just pixels im all about powerful high detailed graphics with insane textures.
I don't care as much about resolution as long as its the same as my tv or monitor which are both 1080p.
Day's Gone + Horizon Zero Dawn + Uncharted 4. Those are graphical powerhouses that must be respected. PC its time to get your games out there I haven't been impressed with a PC game since crysis. They better look as good these ones on PS4 or your platform is just awful lately.

Forza Horizon 3 looks amaze balls, and Sea of Thieves look like it will be fun, I was looking for some Crackdown 3 footage but I didn't find any, was it shown?
On the down side, the game I was most looking forward to seeing Scalebound really disappointed me from what I saw. Overall I think MS is on the right track.
I didn't watch the whole show, I caught the 7 minute round up but over all seems like a good B-.
It's xbox and hermits fanboys who are notorious for hating on games based on a game not being on their platform (I remember Demon's Souls like yesterday)
My opinion, however, about any individual game has nothing to do with platform or system preference unlike most system wars fanboys on this site. When I give my opinion about a game it's my honest opinion about what I think of it as a gamer.

@casharmy: the last of us was one of the 10 best games of last generation, so not sure what you mean. I bought it day one, did a podcast with other system warriors praising the game to the moon and back.
I'm getting the sense that it scrambles your brain that I enjoyed how much better the 360 was than the ps3 last gen, and my crystal ball tells me the fact that I bought a ps4 this generation because it's better than the xbox one is more than you can process...
Also... What you just said about Forza horizon is to the T exactly what cows did for infamous 2. A game that scored 9 in its first iteration all of a sudden, last minute gets hyped AA to make the flop hurt less....

......To give you a little reference tho, the commentary and gameplay of Horizon Zero Dawn kinda turned me off as well...especially the voice acting.

The only thing that really bugged me in the Gears 4 demo was the bad guy on the chain guy couldn't hit the player. He was shooting, the player was out in the open, grabbing that catapult without taking damage.
They would have played it on easy or very easy. These conferences run to a schedule, so having them die and have to wait for a loading screen would be a big no no.
