Gears Of War 4 thoughts?

top notch graphics, game will be fun but not likely 10\10 or anything.

Loved the first 3 so if it is like them I will love it. It is still almost a year and a half away but looking great so far.

Happy that it was revealed but the demo itself was meh.

Awful demonstration, but at least it's a long ways off. Fingers crossed for a good horde mode, and hopefully no fucking Lambent (hate the fucking Lambent).

Game was incredible. The weather effects were insane. The game was a little dark, but I expect it'll be corrected before the game is released. Graphics were amazing. If these was shown for the PS4 as an exclusive, all the trolls bashing it right now would be flipping out calling it "Best Looking Game of E3". lol!! The butthurt is very strong in this thread. This thread isn't about Uncharted 4 or Horizon.

Well of course not. Only 8 games have ever received a 10. Gears won't be one.

The only thing I can't see shit is the fact that everyone keeps saying Gears of War 4 when it should be called Gears 4. Seriously, I saw more gameplay then this thread everyone is calling it Gears of War 4, it's call Gears 4.

The demo was crap, it clearly wasn't ready to be shown yet. Having said that I'm very interested in seeing what the final product will be.

That looks absolutely terrible... I never did like Gears or the OTS bs, but this looks even worse than the others if that is possible for me... ugh.

Lacks the wow factor but I am still pretty excited about it I been playing the UE beta all last week. Fun times ahead.

I'm not even cow. The graphics look good, especially the weather effects and lighting but it's nothing on the level of U4 or Horizon.

It will look a lot better when it's finished no doubt.

I love the Gears trilogy but that was an Xbox 360, 7th gen series that wound up perfectly. I even enjoyed Judgement, in a "this is clearly a rehash but the mechanics are still good" kinda way.

But this is next gen, man. What is Gears 4 doing that's new? What is "next gen" about it?

Was a bit lackluster but I'm certain there's a bunch of Wow Factor in the game once it hits the street. Still pretty pumped, want to see lots more, bring it on.

My thoughts about Gears 4 are the same as they are for UC4. If you're already a fan of the series, this newest entry probably wont let you down. However, it doesn't do much to awe hose non-fans who want to see some kind of significant evolution in order to buy as opposed to rent.

So his voice doesn't sound like someone driving along a gravel driveway (seems heavily edited, though), and they're no longer as wide and beefy as they are tall. That's interesting.

I'm also becoming annoyed by video game flashlights. In real life, when you turn on a flashlight, it actually softly illuminates the entire room while the hard light is concentrated in front of the flashlight.

Overall, it lacked a little energy, and it's got "Good" not "Great" written all over it. So if this were Rotten Tomatoes, though my analysis here sounds bleak, it's actually positive. It'll probably be a good TPS.

The game will be good, but demo was abysmal. So dark and uneventful.

This is why watching E3 videos while extremely drunk is not a good idea.

It was pretty dark, but overall it looked nice. Need to see more.

I am a fan of both but I have to say I believe you are right. I will be buying both the 4's and hope they are a blast but they are really more Uncharted and more Gears.

I thought it was interesting that they decided to show Gears of War with an attempt to be more atmospheric from a tone perspective. The original had a sense of atmosphere to it that the sequels lost, but lol at their execution with Gears 4.

At this point it's like Halo. It's a multiplayer series with a campaign that will be more of the same, and more of the same should have ended at the original.

I think there will be a turret section and maybe a boss battle somewhere near the end.
