You're right, they were. But I would of liked to have seen bigger maps with 12v12 matches since I'm paying 50 dollars a year for this online service. Large scale battles would of been badass. Don't get me wrong, even though the multiplayer was a let down for me, Gears is still one of my favorite games of all time.

I think I'll be too busy playing Halo3 or Mass Effect to let the fact that someone is playing a game I played a year ago bother me, even with more content.

Also one of the most satisfying things about Gears was the feedback when you are chainsawing, maybe a mod can fix that for you.

Man, that's so sickening. Having that setup to play WoW. It's great talk on the LOTR:O servers.

I would have to agree with you here, But well you have people that collect useless garabage and you have people who dual-box (this guy plays 23 wow accounts at the same time and his girlfriend plays 23 - or played), to some it's a challenge, to me it's nonsense.

However I posted this, because he's not the only one with such setups, leaving WOW aside, some people just make PCs their hobby and buy as much as they can afford for their wager - however that doesn't mean they live at their moms and are unsocial.

This guy probably is tho :) a bit unsocial.

I have a PC and I didn't shop the internet for cheap parts like a lot of herms do(that is being desperate if you ask me). I ordered a top of the line PC from a good company and let them put it together and I picked the best parts. I didn't buy it for games cause I use it for business and educational reasons.

If I can play a crap game like STALKER then I can play Crysis no problem, but I enjoy playing the 360 with my other friends that have a life.

Maybe not everyone knows how to build a computer. I got this PC at a Chinese Mall ...custom settings yet all I saved were like $ 300 and the shipping however this PC later had problems with the fan and had to fix it at extra cost.

I have a feeling it's Gears 2. I don't mind if it's Gears 2 as long as it has cross platform gaming. The graphics aren't a big upgrade whatsoever...more like GRAW and GRAW 2.

You hermits can spit out how cheap PC gaming is to what people say, but it's not going to change the fact that the majority believe PC gaming is expensive.

It's like the whole argument "TV adds 10 pounds". Due to the TVs of old, people looked a lot larger than they usually were. Hence, you had to be underweight to look "normal". With the advent of flatscreen televisions, and newer cameras, that problem is now gone. Yet people still thing the camera adds ten pounds.
