Nothing wrong with that, LBP is pretty darn fun.

You guys know LBP has a higher score then Gears 1 and 2 on Metacritic? Its a 95, thats higher than any exclusive on 360, although I would kill for Super Mario Galazxy (it has a 97).

Plus you know it isn't biased or hype, since its a collection of other people's scores.

Also I don't know about you, but Gears doesn't really compete with Killzone 2 or Uncharted, so this whole argument is pretty moot when PS3 currently has the best graphics in their games. ;)

You can have it. I mean, the game's f***ing great, but by now it's nothing more than used toilet paper. Think of it this way.. we've had GoW games for around three years. If the PS3 were to get the GoW games, they'd start with the first THREE years after the release, and the second god knows when. Besides, it seems that they're developing a GoW 3, so I wouldn't keep my hopes high for the previous ones getting ported to the PS3 any time soon.

It'd be the way that it currently is with most games MS signs timed-exclusivities :lol:

I think they are reffering to trying to make it more marketable to places like Asia and Europe. Gears of War isn't exactly popular in Japan.

No he doesn't. Many of those numbers are theoretical maximums that are taken with the GPU doing nothing other than that function (essentially useless).

The Pixel and Multi Sample fill rates are computed with the 360@4 samples and the PS3@2 samples, of course there is a 2x discrepancy.

The 256GB/s is pure tripe, that is on chip bandwidth compared to bus bandwidth. It makes me think that these numbers came from that Major Nelson idiot.

hope it never happens.im buying a 360 this december for ME,halo and gears. my problem with 360 is to many multiplats thats why i didnt get it till now btw i know ME and gears 1 are also on pc.just want to play them on my tv

Though I think the Microsoft buying EA rumors are false, I think Microsoft will eventually buy Epic, or at least buy the exclusive right to Gears of War.

No, Halo and GoW are both first party franchises.

The GeoW franchise is thrid party built on a multiple platform engine with one of the games already released on another platform. It is entirely possible, however unlikely, that GeoW could be released on the PS3.

gears 1 and 2 where published by MS so i doubt you will see those 2 on the ps3, but future upcoming gers games could appear on the PS3, but i doubt it, due to the fact that MS will throw as much money as possible at EPIC to ensure this franchise never see the light of day on a playstation

The numbers you are posting have already been proven as MS propaganda. That test was done by MS in case you didn't care to read the words preceding those false specs you keep posting from IGN. It is all abunch of crap, and only there to fuel MS fanboys.

That is marketing tripe, if you feed 4 samples to the raster units vs 2 samples you are going to get twice the product. You are a fool if you buy that crap. But we will set that aside for a moment and assume that the 360 is the stronger console. Where are all the 360 "Graphic Kings"? The PS3 has Drake's Fortune, Among Thieves, KZ2, MGS4, GT5, and Heavy Rain while the 360 has only produced GeoW2 and maybe Alan Wake.

These are two games of the same genre developed exclusively for their respective platforms. Why is there such a large descrepency in favor of the supposed "weaker" console?

I've already played them and couldnt care less if it went ot ps3 even thoguh i sold my 360 for a PS3, co-op was fun and never played the multiplayer much but its no big loss.
