How the hell did GoW was so loved? I have tried the PC version and it's highly overated.
8.5 at best!

I agree. It's way overhyped. I am playing right now on the PC, and it's good, but as good as fanboys hype it to be. I will not buy into the fanboys hype anymore.
You are forgetting that Gears of War was originally released on the consoles. When it first came out it blew me away that something like it could be done on the 360. I was often surprised I was able to control the character it looked so good. It's now a year later and it's now released on a much more superior platform with higher standards.
Take that into consideration. It wasn't released day and date with Crysis as a PC exclusive with the hype it had/still has.
[QUOTE="Vorserider2"]super good story

ahahahahahahahaha
No, let me help you there:
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Gears has a God-awful story. It introduces characters that it never fleshes out, doesn't go too deep into the war nor the characters and their past (do they even mention Dom's past?), and ends so abruptly with something so vague and mediocre you questioned if it was really the ending. I don't think we even saw the human's city in the entire game.
Gears of War had great gameplay and didn't need a good [decent.... okay, even a half assed] story. To put it simply: the story was horrible.
I Love Opinion's, i tried the PC version the control's are to clunky, better off with the 360 versionPS360Fanboy
