Exclusives=Quality, Multiplats =Quantity? that has got to be one of the lamest statements i have ever read, especially when the number of quality multiplats Dwarfed the number of quality exclusives 7th gen

So true. The best games of the 7th gen have been multiplat;
Mass Effect trilogy
Batman Arkham
Tomb Raider
Assassin's Creed series
Skyrim
Deus Ex HR
Dragon Age Origins
Fallout 3 and Vegas
GTA IV, GTA V
RDR
Bioshock
Portal 1 and 2
Quality = exclusives
Quantity = Multiplats
So you're saying that multiplat games lacked in quality? OK, I'll give you Mass Effect 1 for frame rate issues but ME2 and 3 had much improved production value. Dragon Age 1 had lack luster graphics on consoles but still awesome RPG experience. And Skyrim had some issues (mostly on PS3 version). But Tomb Raider? Batman Arkham? AC? Deus Ex? Bioshock? You're really going to dispute the quality on those??
Overall multiplats overshadowed exclusives in both quantity and quality.
No, multiplats are still high in quality, but exclusives are just higher.
IMO Uncharted 2 and skyward sword > all the games you just mentioned.

To say there is quality to be found in both exclusives and multiplats is measurably objective.
This "greater than all else" assertion however is way too subjective.
Yeah pc really left much to be desired if you don't count indies. Even with Indies some of those titles really Suuuuuuuuuuuuucked.
Yet despite that, PC revenue grows like clockwork.
Though this is a terrible metric. We all know that multiplats are what dominate the market today. Even the best selling and most popular exclusives can't hold up to even the less popular multiplats.

Crusader Kings 2
Total War series
Super Mario Galaxy series
Skyward Sword
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Valkyria Chronicles
LOZ Link Between Worlds
Fire Emblem series
Company of Heroes
Dawn of War
If I had to choose, I would take the exclusives over the multiplats.
Yeah pc really left much to be desired if you don't count indies.
I guess if you just think that exclusive GOTY awards all that matters...
Otherwise PC was all around great
What were some standout exclusive AAA titles that dropped only for the PC? Consolization really hit PC hard this gen, there was very little in the way of exclusive games that actually were worth a damn.
The only games I really use my computer for are Multiplats and Path of Exile.
.
I still think the 360 was the better console as an overall package (the later models that is, not the early RRoD models). However, I think the PS3 had better games overall.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Empire: Total War
Total War: Shogun 2
Civilization 5
Company of Heroes
Dawn of War
Crusader Kings 2
I've probably spent about 1000 hours on these games alone.
@happyduds77: not sure I follow your exclusives = quality, multiplat = quantity idea? Multiplat of last Gen handily eclipsed exclusives in nearly everything. Obviously this is a topic built from personal experience, but C'mon... Is there really any debate.?
There are still great exclusives like Gears, Forza, Last of Us, Uncharted, Little Big Planet, Mario Galaxy, etc that are all awesome
Couldn't agree more... there are some wonderful exclusives that came out last gen and will continue to this gen, Looking at the overall stable of games though, both exclusive and multiplat, I think it's pretty clear that Multiplatform games have become the movers and shakers of the industry. In the end though, games are games... the hardware you play them on is irrelevant.

Stalker was 7th gen? I thought it was older. I'll agree the stalker series was good until it all went to shit.

STALKER was 2007
@blamix99: Lems? Perhaps, but at least they graduated. Herms, on the other hand, failed miserably. Repeating the fiscal school year.
@lostrib:
Sigh...an example

Like I said....another year for you, my son.
PS3 dominates... I did say it had the BEST exclusives. (quality > quantity). Metal Gear Solid 4, The Last of Us, Uncharted 2, LittleBigPlanet, all among this gens best.
SDC
i would guess that micorsoft had the biggest bribe budget, but no, its sony
@lostrib: I do not have the time to teach you how to read English, or how to comprehend it. Again, stay in school, my child.

...Considering I am in school and have my name on a few publications, I think I fair pretty well. You on the other hand appear to be set on continuing your idiotic troll schtick
