In my opinion, the Sega Genesis and the Super Nintendo catered to 2 different crowds.
On one hand we have the Sega Genesis, with its fast processor and cpu able to put out visuals at striking speeds, this console was built for arcade style games that were usually a lot of fun to play and had a grip on the trigger happy crowd.
On the other hand we have Nintendo, which could usually come close to the amount of speed that was output on the Genesis, but typically went more for depth, story, and originality.
In my opinion, the Super Nintendo was my console of choice in the 16-bit war. You could just tell that the people at Nintendo cared more about their games then Sega did. Hence why among other reasons, Nintendo still has its own system now and Sega doesn't.
And for the record, Shaq-Fu was on both systems, and sucked a lot on both systems. Yes I owned this game. Stop talking about it. It hurt my brain then, it still hurts my brain now.
What the hell happened to Sonic btw?
