I'm going to wait for reports on whether the port is buggy or not from early adopters before picking it up.

I doubt it. 360 to PC ports hardly require any work. What I'm hoping is they beefed up the lighting a bit. A game like Alan Wake with great lighting on PC would be fantastic.

If I hear really good things about it I might pick it up on Steam. Otherwise I'll most likely wait for it to go on sale.

It'll probably go on sale pretty soon so you might luck out and get it for $20. I would get the game but I want to wait and make sure it's a good port and I still have plenty of games to play so I can wait for a price drop/sale.

Of course its just you! You'll love anything with the words Microsoft written across the box! However a vast majority of gamers were disappointed with Alan Wake, including me! As a PC gamer, I'd rather spend my money on the plenty more better games out there! But thats just me.....being smart with my money. And unless this version receives a significant upgrade in graphics or an overhaul in gameplay and story to fix the boring and repetitive gameplay and boring and nonsensical story, then there's no point in re-playing, let alone re-buying a disappointing and uninspiring game like Alan Wake again. In fact, the only games that have disappointed me more then Alan Wake, this gen, were Gears of War 3 and Splinter Cell Conviction

There are plenty of reasons to own a 360 besides just exclusives. I know you do get paid by Sony to say s*** on the internet, but no one really cares on what fanboys like you say.

Too little, too late.

I mean seriously. It's been nearly two years since Alan Wake released.

I'll consider Remedy "home" when they develop a new game for the PC.

nah he's right ... there really is little reason to own a 360 right now. I bet you that if MS could drop the 360 and make everything compatible through just Kinect, they'd do it.

There's little reason to own one if you've already played all the games on the 360, sure, but that'd go for anyone.

If I was to buy a 360 today I'd have 5.5 years-worth of 360 games to play. That seems like a pretty good reason.

I don't think the consumer won't a system for exclusives. Like I have said, there are OTHER reasons BESIDES EXCLUSIVES to own a platform. Those would buy a 360 for online, the controller, and backwards compatability. Besides, the consumer really doesn't buy games that are in the exclusive area anyway. The proof is Call of Duty, which outsold every other game in this generation. Just my two cents.

But they'll allow them to team up with another publisher for a retail release, right? Ms has no sway over this release.
