[QUOTE="BoloTheGreat"]Im a massive pearl jam fan and even i thought GH Pear Jam was a bit much. Where are the new gameplay mechanics? these are all just re-hashed versions of GH3 over and over and over. HarlockJC
There is only so much you can do....After awhile it's just new songs

The probalem is they are WAY to narrow, they should have done a guitar hero Seattle or a Grunge Hero kind of thing with pearl jam but also bands like alice in chains and STP, THAT would have been better. Same with this, why not make a guitar hero; Metal Overload. There i even thought of a name for it. Instead of the GH; Metalica and this one. More people would buy them and it would make 1. games come out less frequently thus not saturating the market and 2. Help give the time for innovations to gameplay and modes.

I know i'm in the minority here but I don't mind it at all. I think it makes sense to release a GH,RB, or SingStar focused on one artist. If they had a game of my artist only, I'm excited to buy it. I don't have to otherwise. I think the Beatles one looks killer. Milkage or not, I don't see why this bothers people so much.

I don't have a problem with a few big bands like Van Halen, Metallica, and the Beatles. But I'm afraid there just going to keep doing it with many smaller bands, and that would be ridiculous, when you could just make it DLC.

Are you ready for another GH game?

clyde46
EWWWWW. Van Halen is a HORRIBLE band. "Jump" should be condemned to the fiery pits of hell. If you don't believe me, try and find the music video on Youtube, if you don't get a bad taste in your mouth, you're probably um....never mind. Milkage confirmed. Activision failure confirmed. People going to buy it anyway confirmed. People going to hate it confirmed.

Haven't bought one of those since GH3. Think it's about time to upgrade. To Rock Band 2.

Yes but if we leanred anything from 1983 low quality games in a highly saturated market make the whole thing take a comercail nose-dive. Activision is being VERY short sighted in it's mis adventures into expoliting the consumer, there is only so much **** you can shovel down someones throat before they vomit it back all over you. This is what will happen, people will be confused and non plused by the sheer over abundance of music games and just not bother, a few tidy and tight releases will always out pace a slurry of cheap cash in crap in the long term.

Have not bought one Guitar Hero game yet and never will, same goes for Rock Band. I hate these types of games. I had roommates awhile ago that played them and I could not even be in the same room without getting annoyed. Watching this game being played is like nails on a chalkboard for me. Just bleh.
