Linkage provided here, jump to visit Joystiq.

Sounds interesting.

Each soldier will be, as the developer likes to describe them, "an F-16 on legs." Those legs are able to run faster and jump further thanks to a lightweight, powered exoskeleton that also gives each soldier the ability to carry 300 pounds of gear. Their suits are covered in tiny cameras and LED displays that form a "scatter suit," effectively cloaking them from enemy sight. Ghosts also have a standard-issue, shoulder-mounted rocket launcher holding three rockets. Those can be used as either "fire and forget" weapons or manually guided into their targets.Randy Nelson of Joystiq

I do like the sound of being a fast moving death machine. Do you?

Agreed. A third game in the vein of the first two would have been too similar. Good to see they're trying something new. It's like MGS4 meets GRAW (even with little mechs!).

The more I hear about this game, the more I want it lol. I loved GRAW 2 and I'm feeling the Ghost in the Shell and AppleSeed vibe I get from the game.

My main question, will it be as hard as Ghost Recon 1? GRAW was too easy imo.

GRAW will be great as long as it's GRAW and not "Michael Bay's vision of GRAW as narrated by Dane Cook". Ubi needs to stick to their guns on this series.

oooh, the game runs at 60fps. thats definately a positive. might have to snatch up SC Conviction when it gets cheaper to get into the beta.

They sure are going futuristic with this one...don't know how I feel about that yet. I do prefer a modern setting with modern weapons, but I'm keeping my mind open to this. :3 GR is one of my favorite series.

Hmm... If they can make you feel like a super soldier, but make it so it's still tactical, and you die in a couple shots I think It'll be awesome. And if it uses a cover system like GRAW 2, PLEASE make it better.

Is the Clancy name even associated with GRAW anymore? Wouldn't surprise me if he just spat out his cigar and walked away from the easy money due to all these proposed sci-fi changes in the series. (I know they're rooted in real prototypes... except for the rocket launcher thing... that can't be real.)

I never was a fan of high tech gadgets, GRAW was about as advanced as I would want it to get. Still, maybe it will be good. I've been waiting for a new one in the series since GRAW 2, even if I don't like the campaign if the co-op is pretty much the same as it has been from GR2 to GRAW 2 (I never played the first one and don't know about its co-op modes) it will have the best co-op again.

I'm interested but Ubi, please can I have another R6 game already?!

I think they added tech to everything, because in GRAW both verisons no one wanted the tech they had mostly the gun camera, which most games dont have the option to use a camera gun. They need to go back to when they had little tech, and was fighting more in the forest. with todays tech it could be darker and more as a ghost squad
