Giant Bomb's Game of the Year 2010...........is..

It's tough to choose between RDR and Mass Effect 2. Both were incredible. I'm glad some are making the distinction though.

Frankly, I think it makes more sense to award GotY to a game that measures up that can be enjoyed by the largest amount of gamers vs. catering to a single machine.

Thus, DA:O should have taken GotY last year over Demon Souls. DA:O > DS.

Maybe he hasn't, but I have, and ME2 is still the best. You people are so blinded by your hate for it you can't even accept that people would love it for what it is. Case in point, I think Red Dead is a boring piece of ****, but I can see why people would love it so (even give it GOTY), as the setting (especially the setting) and story are objectively good enough to get into - I just didn't.

No surprise at all to anyone who listens to the Bombcast :P Regardless, I'm stilling enjoying Brotherhood the most out of any game released this year, so I'm going to have to agree with Ryan Davis' Top Ten list (not just for his number 1 AC pick either).

Well deserved.

The funny thing is that,during their deliberations they actually say that ME2 is a more of a shooter and not really an RPG. That much I can agree with them.Arach666

Which makes me wonder why the game is praised so much becuase the shooting is terrible.
