It's pretty much impossible for a modern game to maintain that position for long because of the increased number of review sites that exist today as opposed to the number that existed when games like Ocarina of Time were released.
What is so good about this game anyway?, I hated the first one, there MUST be something I missed, the only thing I liked were the topless girls at the beggining the rest felt like an average arcadeish button masher, I'm not trolling the game or anything but can someone tell me what is so good about it?

its fun.... has an intriguing story that has thought into it. everyone is entitled to their opinion, but when the original GoW gets a 93.2% average and the lowest score for it is an 80% then maybe you should look at your taste in games and see how credible your opinion is.

Doom, Chrono Trigger, Super Metroid, Super Mario Brothers 3. All of those games either don't have any or don't have many reviews.

Which is so odd, since TP on GC is rated higher than TP on Wii and it isn't listed. Yeah, I noticed that too.
TP on Gamecube has surprisingly very few reviews.
For most critics, its all about the Wii.
Isn't it funny how we are so accepting of the name Wii now? Nintendo was right.
i disagree i still think its dumb and the revolution was a much better name. the only reason were accepting is bc we cant change it. if they called it the nintendo caca we would have to accept it.

like what? EarthBound, ChronoTrigger, Super Metroid, Yoshi's Island, Uniracers, and I'm sure some Sega fans could mention some supreme Genesis classics like Phantasy Star.
