God Of War 3 Confirmed for 2009!!! Link.. MS better get to work!

So i guess that pretty much destroys all the "Sony will discontinue PS3" talk seeing as how one of the biggest franchises of gaming is announced for 2009.. Microsoft better get to work, they already have a lot of work to do in 2008 competing with the likes of Killzone 2, Gran Turismo 5, Socom, Little Big Planet, Home,MGS4,Final Fantasy XIII and White knight, if that wasnt enough Now MS has to worry about 2009 competing with God Of war 3 although Im pretty sure Gears 2 will be coming out in 09 also but still, MS definatley has work cut out for them for the next couple of years..

and you cant even deny the fact that God of war 3 is a system seller.. God Of War Franchise IS a system seller, no doubts about it and this will definatley move TONS of systems

Only difference is the PS3 won't even have 25% of the userbase the PS2 had when GOW II launched.

I think cows have already given up 2007.

I actually expect an onslaught of sales threads from cows next year. Remember, 2008 is supposed to be when the PS3 starts to dominate.

TC u do know GOW isnt a HUGE franchise. In fact Gears of War has sold higher then either GOW's and probably close to both combine or getting there.

So maybe lemmings should say Sony should get to work to combat Gears of War 2 for 2009 :p

I'm hyped as hell to see a new God of War III trailer at E3 08, but I'm not ignoring the great games coming out before the game's release either.

But saying stuff like "MS better get to work" is kind of funny considering 2009 is pretty far away. I'm sure MS isn't idoly sitting by counting their money, they're putting it to good use (Gears 2, Banjo Threeie, etc). At least, they better be putting it to good use...

Why would Microsoft be worried about GoW when they already have multiple series (Ninja Gaiden and DMC) that are light years ahead of GoW :|
