God of War 3 Could Be the Best Game of This Generation

Think about it. GOW1 was one of the greatest games of last gen. It innovated the action genre in ways that we have never seen. GOW2 took everything from GOW1 and improved on it, ten-fold. GOW2 was one of the greatest games ever made. I know that we have only seen that clip from E3, but I think that it is pretty safe to say that GOW3 will be even better, and be one of the greatest games ever made. The graphics will surpass anything ever made on a console, no doubt. It will be a system seller like we have never seen before, and will cause PS3 sells to sweep past the 360, and possibly the Wii.

If they use the same formula i'm not buying. It was fun in GoW1 and GoW2. After playing GoW2 and COO it gets repetitive. Hopefully they change the viewpoint and make it MGS4 like and very detailed gore and bloody deady bodies. Even more detailed deaths then Gears 2 and Killzone 2 combined.

I'll be straight with you, I never liked GoW1 or GoW2, why? Who the hell knows. I fell asleep while playing the game, it was dull, the story felt weird, didn't like the level design. That was just me. The ONLY way for a game to be GOTG is if the ENTIRE gaming community agrees, so count me out.

Look at the history behind Dragon Age: Origins. If you do, you may see that it could be one of the best games ever made as well. Same with Gears 2, FFXIII, or, really, any other major sequel. GoW3 has, to be quite frank, less of a chance of being the best game of the generation than any of these (except maybe Gears 2).

And what history is that? A history of a game that can't even sell 4 million on either game on a 100 million plus user base? Granted the sales are still multimillion which is exceptional but that history isn't anything to think that this game is going to push the PS3 past the Wii.
