God Of War Collection, Exclusive or Not???

When the God Of War Collection comes out for the PS3, if it scores say a 9 here at gamespot (it might, god of war 1 and 2 are AAA games) will it be considered a AAAE for the ps3???? or not. Its a hard one to judge because you can get these games individually for the ps2 (but not on one disc) and its in 720p on the ps3 (standard def on ps2)

So what is it system wars? exclusive or not???

Nah, it's not exclusive. It's a re-release, so it shouldn't count.

Its definitely not exclusive since the same games are on ps2. Just like metroid prime trilogy isnt an aaae. Why does it matter anyway? Im gonna be picking it up since Ive never played GoW2. Unfortunately.

Well I didn't know this PS3 collection was being released on another system. This is a special 2 disce HD remastering of the original games. Yes the original games are on the PS2 but this particular collection can't be played on the PS2. Yes that would mean Metroid Prime Triology would be a AAAE also.

If Metroid Prime Trilogy is not a exclusive then GoW collection is not one either.

No since it also game out on another console PS2 and PC. That is MLB the Show 09 same versions coming out on PS3 this gen and PS2 last gen without any big differences.

The GOW collection is exclusive, exclusive to Sony, and the better, more advanced HD verision is exclusive to the PS3.

So yes, it's exclusive, on two different levels.

To be exact the GOW Collection is a compilation of two ports, so it isn't exclusive. In the same way the Metroid one isn't exclusive because it is a compilation of two ports and a re-release.

Nope, if these collection of games are accessible on the Playstation 2 then it really shouldn't be consider exclusive since you don't need a Playstation 3 to played them.

Can the PS2 play the GOW HD version?

If it can't, then why bother even buying it? The vast majority of people that own a PS2 have already played the orginal games.

I say let the Wii people have the METROID Trilogy as an exclusive. Metroid Trilogy has you playing all three games with the Wii mote and the Wii is the only place you can do that. the same games can be found on the ps2 which is not a ps3. also the games themselves have already been review. rereleases dont count.

Oficially it's a Sony exclusive. But I can play both games on my PC in 1080p.

a remake is different

the remake was more than merely a facelift. its the same case with things like bionic commando remake any remake.

this isnt a remake this is the same exact games repackaged regardless of the higher resolution. since games arent restricted by resolution. the devs restrict console resolutions for performance.

so to everyone else. all that matters is the games themselves not the package. we cant include multiple versions of the same game(s).
