Here's the full quality, 1080p version of the GoW3 trailer. Personally, I think it looks amazing (and I'm sure the scope will be epic as well). Anyways, check it out and judge for yourselves if you haven't already done so.
I used mediafire to upload the file. The video's an .mp4 file (approx. 59mb), so use QuickTime unless you have the proper codecs for WMP.
I think there is still a lot more we all have to see before we can make a true judgement. I'm not all that impressed with the trailer, but I'm not yet judging the game since its still probably in alpha state and still requires a lot of work done.
I just watched it again in slow-motion. Anyone else notice the censored harpy boobs? The scene goes by so fast, I thought they were doves/seagulls at first.
This just in. Sony is releasing GoW 3 tomorrow. There is no way and no how the graphics will get better. You are better off saving 60 bucks and if you have a BC PS3 just play GoW 2 on it.
Be realistic. The game is a long way off and as we know the graphics will improve. It is just work in progress.

I just meant so that I feel like I completed the game :P Which means getting at least 1 character to level 50 (mostly there), and beating it through once with a few different classes.
Listen, the game already looks fantastic, but it's still in a really early state. Jaffe also said that what was going to be shown at the VGAs was older then what he saw, and that the game looks much better then that quick little trailer. Even in it's current looking state, I'm not disappointed, but it can only get better looking from here. :)

I just don't think Jaffe would confuse CGI with gameplay (remember he saw more than we did). jaffe also isn't the most reliable source... he's one of those devs that loves to exaggerate and mouth off, especially with his former child. i agree though, the editing, and overall quality of the video was kind of trash considering the title. gameplay i'm sure will be a blast as the others have been.
I'm thinking they showed an early build and used quick-cuts, because they didn't want to steal any fire from KZ2. After all, KZ2 is being hyped mainly for its graphics and it comes out in a few months, they'd be shooting themselves in the foot (as if they haven't done that enough already anyway).

i thought the gow3 trailer is what we can expect to see when the final games comes out no over hyped cgi and bull render crap..it looks like what the ps3 is capable and thats what the trailer showed..would sony fans rather have cgi trailers only to be let down time after time when the game comes out hope not..
