God of war movie to be only Hd dvd!

As long as Universal Studios are only supporting HD-DVD, that's probably true. However, in light of Blu-ray outselling HD-DVD by 2:1 for the last few months, I anticipate they will jump ship sooner or later. In other format war related news, the upcoming Metal Gear Solid movie will be Blu-ray only.

It doesn't matter to me. I have no plans to buy any HD movies... I'm sticking to regular DVD unless Blu-Ray really does take over DVD as the dominant format...

Universal is probably going to start releasing blu-ray movies soon.

Additionally, several retailers have already cut support for HD-DVD entirely. To use Bush terminology, HD-DVD is in it's "last throes."

If the Metal Gear Solid movie is only on Blu-Ray, I will be very angry. It's too early to be forcing formats on us. Hell, VHS lasted for years after DVD started up.
