God of war movie to be only Hd dvd!

Im sure that Sony and Universal would work out some sort of deal to bring this movie to Bluray.

Same with Fox and Microsoft about bringing the Halo movie to HDDVD

Why would they do that? If anything I could see MS just releasing a Blu-ray add on for the 360.

When they say HD DVD or Blu-ray exclusive they mean the high def version, there's still a DVD version.

By the time this movie is even released on DVD, universal will be making movies on blu-ray because it will be beating HD-DVD.

hmm hd dvd dead yet I still cant find 300 anywhere as its completely sold out... yet stacks of blu ray discs. Jurrasic park and other exclusives plus super cheap christmas players at walmart... the war hasnt even begun yet.

As long as Universal Studios are only supporting HD-DVD, that's probably true. However, in light of Blu-ray outselling HD-DVD by 2:1 for the last few months, I anticipate they will jump ship sooner or later. In other format war related news, the upcoming Metal Gear Solid movie will be Blu-ray only.

Guess you never saw King Kong then cause that movie sucked and Petere Jackson directed it. Also, a Halo movie would be the biggest steam pile of crap to hit the big screen. I mean a character with no personality that goes around shooting aliens would be horrible in a movie, it would seriously be worse then the Doom movie which was complete and utter garbage.

Transformers was ok, but the acting was what killed the movie itself, the action was great though. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was crap too, but then again all movies based off cartoons and video games generally suck, it has been like that since the 80's with the Super Mario Bros live action film and the TV show, The Legend of Zelda was also pretty awful. Games should never be adapted to cartoons or film, it is just wrong.

If the movie were released right now, then of course we wouldn't see it on Blu-ray. I think Universal will start to support Blu-ray soon though since it is clearly the preferred format over HD-DVD now.

In any case, the movie would also be released on DVD, and most people have a DVD player.

ok wait a sec, has anyone in this thread stopped and thought for a minute who the director is gonna be ? Une Bowlle ( how ever you spell his name )....... He = a FAILURE @ every single movie he makes. that means this movie = automatic FLOP.

Not to mention game / movies are hardly EVER any good.... Anyone see that Dead Or Alive movie ? yea just what I thought prolly not a signle person here. Cause it = trash and its sales told us that.
