My little cousins just bought Mario and Sonic olympics. It's good fun for about 10 minutes.

Nothing tops good ol Wii Sports though. Takes twice as long to get old

Atleast UT3 did great. remember that Sonic is bundled with Wii, forcing people to buy the game. So hardcore gaming is still winning. glad that UT3 meets more luck in UK than in NA

Actually it's quite good on PS3, but people are dissatisfied with no split-screen multiplayer. It really needed it like Motorstorm did.

Nothing to do with bundles ..it's just damn popular.

It's number 1 in the charts at pretty much every major online UK retailer. Amazon,play,game,gameplay all have it unbundled at no 1 in their daily sales charts.

Any review system is more about the quality that went into making the product, than the enjoyment people will GET from the product. It is why the best made movies make little money, while many #1 movies suck.

No offense, but that sounds really strange, surely many bad movies making lots of money be akinned to all these bad Wii games that got rated badly making lots of money and well reviewed games getting low sales...........

In time the PS3 will overtake sales, because people will like it better with BR HD movies catching on and the game library growing fast. This fall when PS3 drops to $299 then the switch will be very evident. patriots7672

As of Christmas 2007 less then 10% of North American homes have an HD TV, and less then 1% have an HD TV that is 1080p

While for folks like us who seem to think about gaming and HD at least afew times a day the PS3 becomes a very appealing option, but for the average consumer the Wii will continue to be a major factor,

The reason why I don't like casuals is this: They buy these simplistic, boring games, that don't seem to be disappearing anytime soon.

I mean, it doesn't have to be a FPS or bloody action game like GoW. It could be anything besides shovelware, like A puzzle game, rpg, platformer, racing, just something at least a little bit complicated

You think they learn when they play their first crap game, that they shouldn't buy anything like that ever again.
