Miyamoto's keynote essentially confirmed all the fears about the direction they are trying to go with the Wii. While we're at it, are you saying that PS Home is ripoff of Miis? Let me get this straight..you are calling Phil Harrison, one of the most eloquent and rational videogame execs out there an idiot? Just get out.

Eloquent and rational? Phil is in no way forceful, persuasive, expressive, nor effective at giving a speech without making himself look like an idiot. So unless you are talking about some other definition of the word that I don't know about you are wrong.

Rational? You have to be kidding me. Rational people are reasonable people which in other words are people that appeal to reason. "Talk to the people who run GameStop, talk to the people who run BestBuy, and they'll tell you that the demand is unprecedented and that they give us kudos for managing to keep a very sophisticated supply chain moving." Oh yeah Phil you are one of the most rational and eloquent gaming execs out there. Sure he may be succesful in business but that doesn't mean he doesn't act idiotic and is laughed at by his peers and other media outlets like the rest of the Sony Crew.

Oh and you telling me to just get out? Yeah you're gonna have to come to a conclusive end all victory over me before you can even ask for that.

Blackbond. You and I aren't even close to being as smart as any of the people who represent the big 3 companies. Calling Phil Harrison an idiot is an impaired reaction you have towards the man and nothing else. Phil Harrison gave a great GDC, the best Sony conference in awhile. Phil Harrison secured Heavenly Sword. Phil Harrison secured LittleBigPlanet. For these things, I respect Phil. Seems like Reggie's main purpose at Nintendo is to make pretend they have some sort of corporate backbone. Where does Reggie get this "tough guy" image anyway? I don't see it. Anyway I don't mind Reggie, I just have to wonder what it is everyone sees in him, because to me, he's just another talking head.

Because they are doing pathetic jobs, sugar coating bad situations, and are overall on the road to BSing their way to a pay check every week (or howerver often they get paid) The Knicks are the biggest joke of an NBA franchise, sure Isaiah Thomas is smarter then me and yes he's a Hall of Famer but that doesn't stop the world, ESPN, and NBA analyst a like from calling him an idiot.

Reggie to me is nothing but a guy to give Nintendo a quote on quote "Cool Image" and erase the so called "Kiddy Image" He says what the fans want to hear. He never treads into the dangerous territories.

And by the way, after reading your interview, however you want to look at it, Phil was NOT responsible for the final hardware in the PS3. That was all Kuturagi.

Sony fanboys fail to consider that the majority of Playstation owners bought their PS2s for under 200 bucks. The price and the fact it was cheaper than a standalone DVD player are the primary reasons for the huge user base. The PS3 enjoys NONE of this and the current sales figures prove that beyond any doubt. The Wii is selling like hotcakes because of the price point. Until the PS3 i priced in a reasonable range for the average CASUAL (Sony's PS2 user base), they will continue to gather dust. Serious gamers are also on the sidelines due in part to the price, the lack of must have games and the lack of RUMBLE. No one ever said that Sony fanboys were intelligent. The fact that many of them paid over 2k for a system with no games and no rumble is testament to their room temperature IQs. :lol:

Rumble is worthless. I do not miss it. I prefer motion controlling and analog sticks along with Bluetooth and lithium-Ion rechargeable batteries. The PS3 is priced below a standalone Blu-Ray player, includes features like an HDMI output, USB ports, and the technological capability to be relevant for more than two gaming seasons. It includes free wireless internet and I'll be running about in my virtual grassy knoll in Playstation Home very soon. I'm very satisfied with my game system because I know I'll be playing it in the future. I know it will be relevant in the future. How about you?

It seems like a fitting response I have here at the 1up Blog of Sony's Keynote: L: Oh my god. Is that Reggie? S: He's here to take names. L: Is he going to do that while getting his *** kicked? I don't think there are friend codes for what this is.

The items in LBP have their own physics, they behave realistically. A second player drops into the world waving. He has a small helmet on and a short flowing cloak. Yes, the cloak is reacting realistically in the space.

Reggie just snarled.

One of the stickers they just slapped on the environment was a mushroom, not unlike the 'shrooms Nintendo is known for.

Reggie sighs.

The keynote ends and the conference disperses. Everyone seems to be smiling. Except for Reggie.

Well he probably said the perfect thing at the perfect time...
Reggie obviously isnt some arrogent person who would trash a person... but he was put on the spot there by someone. If he did nothing, he would appear to have all bark and no bite.. damaging his "bad ass" image... and he certainly shouldnt go on any personal level at attacking Phil.
So he almost humbly says that they are outselling Sony. From Handhelds to the current gen wars... he is right and no one can deny it. There is no arrogence here.
