Good News: The PS3 Shortage will be over soon!

Speaking as a Canadian, I think the surplus is only in the US.  I haven't seen a PS3 sitting anywhere since immediately after Christmas.  Even then they were gone that same day.  I haven't seen a PS3 anywhere in my city since.

I think Sony is oversupplying the US intentionally because they think it will keep them competitive against the 360.  Of course, they are screwing everybody else and only end up hurting the consoles image in the US.  Meeting demand doesn't move consoles...releasing games moves consoles.  That was what MADE sony.  I still remember getting my launch PS1 before the world even knew anything about it, and it came with a demo disk with a couple games as well as some new Sony music to listen to (ie. Korn).  The cd portion opened with a voice stating that SOny is all about games and lots of them.  Now it appears that isn't the case.  Which is hurting them more than the price I think.

Come to Montréal, we have PS3's everywhere. If you don't see them on the shelf make sure to ask the store clerk if they have any PS3's in the back room stock because my Future Shop and EB games don't like to keep em out on display because of "thieves".

we never got any wiis last week.  i dont know why but we got the wifi for wii,  and had some wiiremotes thats it.
