Uncharted 2 could get some high sales.
Entertainment weekly mentioned it, it has amazing hype, a humungous score on metacritic and now an epic commercial

I thought the ad was epic so i put that in the titleI fail to see how that was deserving of the word "epic".

That "director of rumors" guy is proving to be a pretty good marketing device.
The commercial was great. Don't expect praise for it on this board though. No matter what commercials Sony comes out with--countercultural or no--the posters here have defaulted their opinion to "terrible."

Pariah-
Yah, because TC misuses the word "Epic" it means everyone hates the commercial right?
The ODST commercial was epic, so to think this commercial is on the same level well? You get the idea.
lol, TC changed the topic title. Anyway, the ad is awesome. shalashaska88
I was setting people up for "fail"
Needs more paths from the kitchen to the couch. Too linear. Chick with popcorn? How unoriginal. =\
Legs were epic indeed though.
[QUOTE="treedoor"]Yah, because TC misuses the word "Epic" it means everyone hates the commercial right?Pariah-No. I'm saying that even if he didn't use the word "epic," it would still get trashed because it's a Sony commercial.Nobody bashes commercials because they're from sony, they bash them because they are ****ing bad. Here I'll show you.
This is a great ad.
This is a stupid horrible ad.
Has nothing to do with the brand.

Yeah, actually it does. It's pretty fashionable--at least around here--to bash Sony ads just because they're Sony-made.[QUOTE="Vaasman"]Nobody bashes commercials because they're from sony, they bash them because they are ****ing bad. Yeah, actually it does. It's pretty fashionable--at least around here--to bash Sony ads just because they're Sony-made.No it has to do with the fact that Playstation has one of the most inconsisent marketing teams ever. For every great ad they make, they make one that is equally terrible, just like the example I showed. When Sony deserves praise, they get it, and when they don't, they are condemned. The only people who do otherwise are fanboys, but you shouldn't listen to them anyway.cool women should love it!. i mean its for a totally different audience than wii and 360 ads. its PERFECT

Which is exactly the rationalization used by the anti-Sony crowd to dismiss EVERY ad they make. They see the Nazi Transfusion, the Resistance 2 ad, or the This is Living campaign, and they feel empowered to dismiss them all because the subjectivity of the matter makes everything susceptible. In which case, their opined negativity will be generally considered inarguable.

The great ad was after the terrible ad. You may be thinking of the dumb ad's showing in Japan, maybe, I don't really know if they are shown there. Yeah those are stupid, but SCEA marketing isn't that. The last two years have been good in dealing with ads and recently great.Vaasman

Just came out this month, and seems to be appropriately dumb to serve my point.[QUOTE="Vaasman"]No it has to do with the fact that Playstation has one of the most inconsisent marketing teams ever.
