Hah it's true actually. The plasma grenade is cooler though. Although the Gooey Bomb looks like it could itself add another game to it. Tag or what? Dark_Link142
exactly...this could make games really interestingÂ
the only simularity is that it sticks...that's it...
it doesn't glow
it is all gooey and pink (not bright and blue)
it can be tranfered to another player -the plasma bomb can't do thatÂ
IMO, they arn't similar at all

ÂYou can even play volley ball with bomb-ombs! That reminds me, they need to the ability to grab people when you're in mid-air.
It's almost like the spike bomb in Shadow Warrior.
You know, the game that came after Duke Nukem 3D, like millions of years ago.

Got it before you. ;)Â

Damn you! Well that game sure brings up good memories. At some points I liked it even more than Duke. The spike bomb was the most hilarious weapon I had seen.
I agreeSticky bomb's have been done before the plasma grenade you know.
It looks nothing like the plasma grenade, just behaves how a sticky bomb should, which is how a plasma grenade behaves
also, since when can you pass on a plasma grenade by running into someone?

Yep, the two things that stuck in my mind from that game were the sticky bombs and the humping bunnies that reproduce.Â

Similar to the plasma grenade in Halo?
There are a few different tactics in each game. Due to all players having the same speed in Halo, it's nearly impossible to pull off a successful suicide bombing after being glued with a grenade. However, due to each character having different traits in Super Smash Bros (weight, defence, running speed, jumping ability, hit box, falling speed, etc) a character is much more easily able to take out their opponent with them and if they're really good, they can take it off, restick it, and get out before it explodes. Of course in some cases it'll be much harder since some characters are extremely slow.
And as others have said, glue grenades have existed for a long time.
I can see a really really kool event match sapwning out of this item XDkittykatz5k
I'm also waiting for some announcement concerning new game modes. I had an idea once involving Master Hand, Crazy Hand, and the Wiimote for a multiplayer game mode thought I had no idea of how it would work. I also remember one of the stages in adventure mode where you're being attacked by Arwing fire non-stop, which led to my new idea: One player acting as a sniper using the Wiimote while the other three try to dodge. Of course, there'd have to be some sort of bullet delay and indicator of where the sniper will shoot in order to make things fair for the slower characters.
In order for the three targets to win, all they have to do is survive a certain amount of time and be the last one standing after the sniper is gone. Fast characters will be harder for the sniper to hit so after being knocked out so to fix that, KO'd players can re-enter as a ghost to KO a survivor and live again. Ghosts can't be shot.
Â
I'm open to any criticism and suggestions about the balance of my idea or how cool or uncool it is.

I always turn items off. Aswell as I always battle at 'Batlefield'.That's for when we have serious matches. Me and my friends use items and other arenas in fun matches.88Ghost89
At first I was like this:Â :|
But, then I was like this: :)Â
As many people have pointed out: 1. the sticky bomb thing isn't all that new. Halo DID NOT invent it. It can trace way back when (Saving Private Ryan for example). 2. At first glance, the gooey bomb sounds similar to the plasma grenade. But after some careful reading, the strategy in utilizing it will be totally different. Because of it's "Tranfering" nature of the gooey bomb, you better be far away when tossing it at someone so the targeted PC doesn't have a chance to run at you to either take you out with him or trying to pass the "Hot Potato" back to you! Unlike the plasma grenade in Halo (nothing more fun than tagging a por Grunt with one and watch as it scream in panic and run back into his squad, blowing everyone up in the process. Poor suckers lol! "Get it off! GET IT OFF!!!!")
