BTW, Lockout is the best 1V1 map i can think of in the game. Ill gladly play you even though i will lose as im using a 3rd party controller that has horrendous sensetivity (cant play on anything lower than 2 = ( )

The rocket launch and over-shield are right next to each other. Get them first, and you've won the game. Killing the other person will always give you enough time to get the rocket ammo and over shield again.  

im not even good. but i beat him 10-5. but he did have snipers on the map.....not a good idea.

im only like a 25 in team snipers and 31 in team slayer.  but i only play once ever few months. im just playing now to get ready for the beat. :D

thats why you play lockout with human weapons. or snipers on the map. ALWAYS with BR start.  so its fair and not a power weapon struggle.

i play XBC. but anymore you really have to be a sick player with a sick teammate or you get owned really badly. :(

 :lol: i joined gamespy arcade right around the time they just started putting halo online; so not alot of clans were ruling at the time. it was after the first year the sever pretty much split into 2-3 power clans. i never had much fuss with XBC users..

Playing it more im getting the jist of it, Not what i typicaly like but it seems pretty good, Is the jump button basicaly the sprint button, Im getting a bit better to.

I respect your opinion, bud, but you are in the vast minority in not liking Halo 2.  Halo and Halo 2 are two of the finest FPS's ever created (check gamerankings.com).

 I tend to agree with the general consensus on this one.  Halo and Halo 2 have an awesome story along with great weapons, great multiplayer, great controls, and good graphics and sound.  Halo 2 over Live is just amazing....so much fun.  I can't wait for Halo 3!

agree completely i still havent seen a FPS on consoles that surpass the ahlo experience, gears comes close but the MP in halo is just plain better than gears.

Nonetheless, that isnt the gametype you should start of with, its terrible. Play Rumble Training or Team Slayer, ill be on tommorow, if you are, then ill give you a few games.

But please, dont still say it sucks, because you havent seen ANYTHING yet. You got a long way to go mate.

to complain about something as stupid as a sprint button, thats just the games pace just live with it, i persoanlly think Halo 3 should move as slow as halo 1 because in the first halo everything seemed a bit more fluid....

halo 2 is great but i didnt really like how much faster they made it compared to halo 1. and yes the rocket is the sick weapon that kills alot of things, dont complain just because someone got before you because you kn ow you would be saying the same thign if you had the rocket. "I GOT SKILLZORZ!!!!"

XBC gave me much less lag issues in very large games compared to gamespy and the clan battles there were some what decent. the one thing i did notice was while playing on gamespy..i found alot more organized clans and clan battles had a sense of meaning to them. everybody knew who were the top clans on gamespy and tried everything they could to defeat us( yes..i was in one of them :) ) in XBC there was less drama and more playing..8)
