Ok, I'm about to say something totally crazy, but stay with me here.

How about, we actually wait until we get into the year 2008, when more games will be announced, and wait until some of the shows? Because, while I'm glad you all have time machines to go into 2008, the rest of us don't. If I were you, I'd be more concerned about this holiday season, not next.

No More Heroes I think is coming out in '08. Other than that, and Mario Kart, basically nothing.

I admit it too. That lineup looks great but i'm sure the 360 can come throught with another good lineup. Maybe it won't be as good as this year's but good nevertheless.

Everyone knows that even those the 360 has done it's best to get people in software...it has one of the best attachment rates ever.....which is why devs keep flocking to it.

Every new Final Fantasy game is a brand new game. It's only the title that's the same and some references. And please, don't compare Blue Dragon and Sonata to FFXIII. They aren't even in the same league. Gran Turismo have been improving greatly over the years and GT5 looks alomst phot-realistic so there goes that argument. Games like FFXIII,MGS4,GT5 have bigger impact on the console than you might think. Just MGS4 and XIII is enough to get most Japanese gamers to pick up the PS3.

How has GT improved over the years besides graphics and more cars??? I can't wait to hear this one....

Well, this is new. Arguing with yourself now, are we? :lol:

last year sony had this year won. and in 2008 sony is gonna have 2009 won. it will always be "just wait some more". and with the install base the 360 woll have in 2008 dont be suprised if most of your 3rd party exclusives aren't so exclusive any more. the 360 is much easier to develop for meaning you can make a game just as good in about 1/2 the time, or you can make a game twice as good in equal time. aas a bonus with xna you get a pc version for almost free, all you have to do is map out kb/m controls and recompile for the pc. the 360 will have great games next year too, some we haven't even heard of yet.

also have you noticed 360 executives going to ea games and ea execs going to ms? dont be suprised if a buy out is in the works. madden and the nfl may be on their way to becomming 360 exclusives. yes i hate ea too and boycot them, but they sell alot of software and for some reason a madden exclusive would be a system seller. to make the most money the developers are going to have to develop for the largest install base, which will be the 360.

All these fanboys just wanna own people. Its all sides. MS fans think they own Sony fans with ME, Bioshock and Halo this year while Sony fans think they will own next year. The truth is game preference is an opinion. I am very happy with the 07 games I have and will be getting for my PS3 and excited for next years too. But people need to respect that people have different tastes in games.

Do you truly believe that Nintendo and Microsoft have announced their entire 2008 lineups? We're about halfway through 2007, for crying out loud. Nintendo and Microsoft have chosen to focus more on 2007 while Sony has shot for 2008. They'll announce their lineups when it's time. Sony jumped the gun, in my opinion, and didn't do much for 2007.norfair_dweller

They still do have a solid '07 lineup. I know 360 has the best '07 lineup, but Sony does have some pretty good(or promising looking) games coming out this Holiday season.

How do you even tell yourself this stuff,For one PGR Is coming out september so count that out...For two Fable is not a series yet and i beat the first one,And its nothing compared to the FF series.For three Halos score is hyped is the first place maybe 8.5 and thats the only game that will even get AAA. Why do people act like Sony didnt focus on 07, HS, Lair, Rachet and Clank, Uncharted, Time Crisis 4, Haze, UT3, Socom, Warhawk, etc... Sony focused on 07 and 08. And I am sure Sony has more games they will announce as well just like Nintendo and MS.
