It's going to be the Starcraft 2 vs Super Mario Galaxy 2 showdown on gamespot. I think Mass Effect 2 is going to win the most across magazines/websites/etc With Starcraft 2 or Mass Effect 2 winning at the AIAS. .......I'll go Mass Effect 2 winning at GDC and Mass Effect 2 at the Spike VG awards. Personal Favorite: Bayonetta.
For me personally.... Halo Reach and Mass Effect 2. I'd love to throw in a mention to Alan Wake too - one of the best TPS style games I've ever played.
Well Ive only bought3 2010 games, REd Dead,Dead Rising 2 and Final Fantasy 13. FF13 is terrible, DR2 is decently fun and RDR is a solid game so ill have to go with that. I bet if I had the money then Fallout:NV would be my personal GOTY
i havent played some of the games listed but I hope mass effect 2 wins..best game ive played this year. fun all the way through (I though red dead got boring once in mexico)
They're not my personal picks, but I would assume it will be between Civilization V, Starcraft 2, SMG2, Halo Reach, and Red Dead Redemption. With the possibilities of God of War 3 and Mass Effect 2. I would wager both would be higher on the list if they weren't released so early in the year, and in this type of thing they end up being forgotten. Although Gamespot is usually better remembering good games.
Red Dead Redemption definitely deserves to win this. It would be a crime if it didn't.

Awesome game. You just won't get many agreements because around here only "exclusives" count. Also, from what I have seen on previous posts it appears that exclusive not yet released games have already won.
SMG will probably win, since SMG1 won it might be a bit unfair, especially to PC gamers that haven't had an overall GotY exclusive for like 9 years and waited even longer for SCII. Even then I still like GoWIII more than SCII so I'd vote for that game if anything.
