doesnt bother me i go see Job For A Cowboy that weekend that means i have £40 more on my merch budget looks like i will be buying a whitechapel t after all... and means i aint gonne be feeling as much of a burn that weekend.Seems weird to delay it this late but maybe manufacturing issues cant see it being delayed more than a couple weeks personally.

This close most devs' would have just done release day patching or something *shrugs*

also how about you show some 'standard' cars PD? seeing as though they make up the vast majority of the cars, if you aren't confident enough to put them in pre-rendered trailers or bullshots, what are people supposed to think?

Probably not, I don't mind delays, but it sucks 'cause I wasn't planning on getting any other games until LBP2 comes out, guess I'll just be chilling for a while.

Im getting a little tired defending this game. Unless this is some sort of show stopper, release the thing already. They keep adding stuff, adding more stuff, polishing things up, adding more polish...on and on. At some point you just have to go ahead and release the game.

They might need to do some tweaking, they might be avoiding another game's release, they might want to build even MORE hype.. it could be anything.

Im thinking they're afraid of Black Ops crushing their sales so they're going to move it to January. Or the development has hit a snag... either way this is VERY sad management by polyphony digital they can't even keep a launch date secure.

Oh wow, another thread of people over exaggerating. Can anyone explain to my why this is being compared to Duke Nukem Forever? I understand the fact that both games have had a lot of delays, but there are key differences between these two games that I shouldn't even to have point out.

Anyways, GT5 is very soon and such be amazing for a racing game (even though I probably won't buy it)

"We are sorry to say that Gran Turismo 5 will not be available on the previously announced release date of November 3rd, but the game will be released before Christmas."

So it's only a couple weeks.

Both games have had set release dates. I guess the big differences that I need to point out is that GT5 is very near completion while Duke Nukem ran into a lot of development issues and there were periods where the game wasn't work on. GT5 already has bundles lined up and there preorders already set up for it. Duke Nukem doesn't AND has been in development for longer than GT5.

My point is, is that Polyphony and 3D realms had piss poor management and deadline markers. Gearbox put DNF back on track and finally made a release date so they've improved but polyphony has no excuse to why its so mismanaged sony's given you YEARS and tons of release dates and they just blow them off like its a responsible thing to do.

GT5 could potential be the most complete racing game ever created. Just letting you know. It's a pretty ambitious project even though it's been flooded with delays.
