This pretty much sums it up for me.

I have a solution for the fans of GT. Go play GT4 and squint your eyes a bit. Pretend you're playing GT5. Problem Solved.
i mean can we get a date at least instead of open ended Holiday Season.... This honestly is disrespect to all the fans of GT series.
[QUOTE="navyguy21"]lol, i loved that episode bleehum
LOL, I think Michael's hatred of Toby is one of the best parts of the show.
"If I had a gun with only two bullets and was in a room with Hitler Bin Laden, and Toby, I'd shoot Toby...twice."
:lol: I couldnt stop laughing at that part

[QUOTE="FIipMode"]Lol, I really didn't think it would get delayed so close to it's release.sanim02
You know what's the craziest part about this?:P WilliamRLbaker was RIGHT!!
not just me. quite a few others cows and lemmings thought it would be delayed again. and I've been right many times before. Will anyone be mad if gamespot or other reviewers shaved a .5 off the top on score because of delays and delays and delays? Its one thing with... coming quarter blah blah but things are getting a bit extreme.. You give people a taste with prologue, then delay after delay after delay. Now when you finally give a conclusive release date, you postpone again months later? The hype and anticlimatic on reviews might hit poly hard. Kinda like how I feel duke nukem will get murdered for not living up to hype after so many years of delays.
i think its justified, I think Forza 3 devs turn 10 could of delayed and had more cars more features more everything but they stuck to their deadline and released not 1 AAAE title, but 2 AAAE titles, which the second one got a 9.5.... When reviewers start including delays into scores, half this gen gets docked. Let's keep it to the games, shall we?

Funny seeing as how that game barely gets picked on for its delays in comparison to GT5 which is bashed to hell and back for a possible 1 month delay :?
Most games don't see the same level of scrutiny. Sure there was the occasional "Alan Wait" comment, but nowhere near the same amount of hate as GT5 as far as I'm aware. Same with Splinter Cell: Conviction with it's messy development timeline and Blizzard's games with their "When it's done" philosophy.Funny seeing as how that game barely gets picked on for its delays in comparison to GT5 which is bashed to hell and back for a possible 1 month delay :?

Whoever this guy is, sounds like he knows what hes talking about :PWell Shigeru Miyamoto once said" A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad." seems PD is following him :P.

Well, I hope it's a good reason for the delay. I can save a little more money anyway thanks to this, so it's not all bad.

lol I was just kidding :oops:Sony didn't give much of an explanation when it announced Gran Turismo 5's delay yesterday. For something a bit more solid (just a bit), we turn to series producer Kazunori Yamauchi himself. Returningto Twitterfor the first time since September 22, Yamauchi apologized to fans today and explained that the reason for the delay was that it was taking some time to finalize some of the game's more complicated systems. Apologizing again (two apologies in the same Tweet!), he asked that players wait a bit more. Yamauchi quickly followed up this apology with some good news for those worrying that this is actually a stealth delay to 2011. A follower pleaded with him to get the game out by the end of the year. "I believe we won't keep you waiting until then," replied Yamauchi. Source
