Maybe they'll finish it this time.

[QUOTE="daveg1"]does anyone even care about another gt game?????Heil68Last one sold extremely well, so I'm guessing yes. I'll buy it for sure.
People bought it because it really is the only option on ps3. It is a good game, but personally I won't buy a sequel to gt5 unless it is significantly more polished.
[QUOTE="daveg1"][QUOTE="Heil68"] Last one sold extremely well, so I'm guessing yes. I'll buy it for sure. Heil68sales make the game. Nope, but you asked if people would care. sorry, what i should have said was,, do people actualy care after the last pile of **** they released..

I'm guessing yes, since it sold extremely well and it scored an 8 here and that is supposed to mean "great" game and it's sitting around 84% on MC. YMMV.

Exactly this. If forza were multiplat I'm sure gt's sales would plummet. Not saying this to be a fanboy I've played both games.[QUOTE="daveg1"][QUOTE="Heil68"] Nope, but you asked if people would care. YMMV. might have sold well but im guessing everyone caught on once they got it.. i dont think they will get as many people excited for this 6th game..only people going on about how bad the last game was especialy how long it took..i wouldnt even expect this on the ps3 either rather half way through the ps4's life.

The GT series has a huge following. I wouldn't be surprised to see the next game sell just as well. I actually enjoy GT5 so count me in as one of those people. It could very well be on the PS4 too and it would be a great launch title.
Don't need it. Forza is the better series.[QUOTE="Heirren"][QUOTE="Heil68"] Last one sold extremely well, so I'm guessing yes. I'll buy it for sure. javafriek

I lost interest in GT after 3, I was hoping GT5 would change my mind but the whole standard versus premium mess put me off. I want GT6 to be all premium all awesome, even if it means less cars/content.
Definitely. Think about it, the game itself is really solid, they just did an awful job of putting everything together. They really just need to make this for the next Sony console so they can give everything a graphic overhaul, ie. making every car premium, making weather effects look awesome, stop making people look like Legos, etc. Restructure the online so it doesn't suck, and you have a great game. If everything had been visually consistent, damage had been implemented right, sound was enhanced, and the online was well-put together, the game would have been amazing. So they have the potential to put together one of the best racing games, in terms of graphics, features, and online. They just need to capitalize on it, keep realistic goals, and try to stay within their limitations. This isn't surprising to me. GT 6 has the potential to be a fantastic game. Potential is the key word, though.

Sim racers just seem so boring. Forza, GT, Need for Speed Shift are all franchises that I could care less about.
Hopefully GT6 doesn't take forever for the people who are looking forward to it.

2017? Must be an optimist.
Let me guess it will come out when they announce the PS5 when the PS4 cycle is almost over. See you in 10 years GT6.
