Uncharted lis tehcnical far ahead of Gears and it ooks better in motion then Greas for Xbox 360 or PC
You really can't compare games by the pictures.
Uncharted has way more detailed environments, they are vey natural and alive because everyhing is moving.
It has a very good and technical demending water, with very realistic behaviour when you walk in it or when waterfall come in contact with it.
There is lots of birds fliying around, every signle grass and leaf if moving, it has even volumetric clouds and the wind is changing the movments of the environments, which makes trees and grass move more and faster or less and slow, the shadow are of course reacting the same and as stated by some gamer sites the shadowing in this game is amazing and makes the jungle look amazing. The environments even move when Drake comes in touch with them and you can even make trees fall both things are very similar to Crysis.
Uncharted has even clothes movments which we didn't see in anyother game yet then Basketball or some other sport games. It also has some destructible evironments but Gears has non of them.
The cutscene and ingame animations are the best so far, better then in any other game. Drake reacts very realistic in every situation. When you watch him running up or down the stairs he is running on stairs and not just floating over them like in most games, he is even runing different on the stairs if you do not run straight, he is always addapting to the environments evne if he is fighting with an enemy, they both react very realistic to the environments. He is always taking cover and making moves in a different way, because Drake has over 3300 animations.
When are people finaly gona face it that Gears is the past and that a lot of new games are going to surpass it's quality. Gears has pretty small levels and they are pretty dead, nothing is moving and there are no complex in this game, Gears really isn't such a technical wonder, it still looks very nice but Uncharted is simply better looking and technical way more demending.
Now flame on me if you can't accept the truth.
