Graphics comparison Stalker vs black ops

I just had an argument on skype that Black ops on xbox had better graphics than Stalker(2007) with the complete modhttp://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-complete-2009

Agreed, there are some parts that look like bleh but it should also be noted that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl started production way back in 2001. I cant wait to see what they're able to do in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 with a more capable engine.

Black Ops is actually a nice looking game on PC. On consoles it looks worse than Modern Warfare 2, which is saying something.

"Graphics comparison" does not automatically denote a particular technical graphics category. Graphics encompasses the whole range of visual techniques that make up how a game looks. Calling someone an idiot based on an unfounded assumption is immature, regardless of whether he's an elitist or not.

I just have to say, after playing BO on 360 it is a very ugly game. Somehow the graphics look like they had taken a step back compared to MW2. Iantheone

The reason for that is because MW2 used IWEngine 4 while Blops used a slightly modified IWEngine 3.

Im a hermit and I will be honest stalker with the complete mod does not look that great

It may look better than black ops but it doesnt look better than mw2

To me the game has terrible character models, animation, terrain texture; the game also looks very inconsistent at times for example the game looks marvelous next to a light source but very ugly without one.

STALKER looks great most of the time. If you cherrypicked screenshots, you could probably make it look like Black Ops looked better.
