Graphics wise: Modern Warfare 2 > Killzone 2

PC version is sharper but doesnt look better... as for console version, well there is no FPS game that is on par with KZ2 visually...

that will obviously change this year considering there are some great fps coming up for consoles (KZ3, Rage, Crysis2, Resistance3, Brink etc)

if you compare most impressive texture in the whole game kz2 might beat call of duty on consoles...but that's mainly because cod's 60 fps and killzone2's 30 fps.

I think he means art direction, and if that's the case I must agree, KZ2 is a rather ugly game, technically impressive but boring environments, MW2 and Black Ops environments were much more interesting,

Halo reach to me looks better than Killzone 2 the beautiful vistas the magnificent detail on the enemies my jaw dropped at the elite detail zoomed into it's back and such and it was :O / OPINION

Anyone who says that Killzone 2 graphically looks better than MW2 (as shown below) is lying to themselves and the people around them. Graphically, MW2 > Killzone 2. The original statement by the topic creator is fact.

I honestly think that Killzone 2 is probably one of the most overrated games graphically of its time. I don't know what people are seeing, but I see a lot of low resolution textures, and an awful lot of lighting and art tricks to make it look better than it really is. In truth, MW2 on PC on max settings DOES look better than Killzone 2. I own both and am speaking from experience. If you're going to compare MW2 to Killzone 2 on consoles, then I agree that its a stretch. However, the PC verson is a whole different ballgame. The graphics in the COD games on consoles are scaled down massively to maintain high framerates. You'd have to experience the games on a high end PC to understand the difference. Besides, there are a handful of games that I think are better graphically, even in terms of technical graphics, than Killzone 2.lockjaw333

Crysis still beats the crap out of these two pos games and will continue kicking the crap out of any game released this year, next year and the year after.

images mean nothing really. the brilliance in KZ is what it looks like in motion. mw2 shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath or sentance.

Both games are sub par for where graphics technology on the PC is and has been for some time.

all of that stays in the multiplayer. In fact, It nearly looks the same on the multiplayer as it does on the single player. Just a slight difference in texture quality.

On consoles? lolno. But MW2 looks nice on PC. I'll post some screens, gimme a sec.

Just because Mw2 is shiny doesn't mean the graphics are better.

In Killzone 2 fire actually hurts you and the wind physics is amazing to look at.
