Great NOSTALGIA topic..

Post a pic of an old game that many may have forgotten and that you look back upon with a healthy dose of nostalgia. I think it's fun to see which games get you guys all nostalgic. And just so it's SW material: which system has the most games that get you feeling all warm and happy when you look back?

For me it's the pc. Even though I'm a convinced consolite right now, it wasn't always such. Many pc games gave me many, many hours of great fun in the past.

Half-Life: LOVE IT!

Halo: Combat Evolved: Easily the most fun I've ever had playing multiplayer. LAN matches back in high school were epic.

Yay, 3 out of 4! Not bad. Never heard of Marathon Infinity, but it looks awesome! How old is that?

Road Rash 64: Had some epic four player multiplayer battles here. Ever remember shovign a pipe in someone's spokes and having them shoot up in to the air? Priceless. Recently saw it at a store here in town in the neighborhood of $30-$35.

Wolfenstein 3D: My dad used to play this back in the day, and when I showed it to him on my iPhone a couple weeks ago his jaw dropped!

Space Station: Silicon Valley (N64): I would love to give this game another try. My younger brother and I were so young back in the day we could never fully beat it, but we were still amazed by it. Incredibly overlooked game.

Wing Commander Prophecy. Live action cinematics, first time using the joystick sidewinder thing. Aweomse game!

One of Bethesda's first games I think. But SKYnet was a BLAST to play! I wish they'd remake it, or offer it for free so i can play it once again.

TRIAD: The Hunt Begins. Rise of the Triad.

This game was one the first FPSs I ever had the pleasure of playing. Blowing someone up and seeing their eyeball fly at you was rofl back then.

It wasn't even a month ago, I picked that game up and gave it a go. It had been years, and years, and years since I'd played it last. I beat it on the first try without dying once.

But Donkey Kong Country always gave me great memories.

When I think "nostalgia", I think being in the arcades and walking up to bad boys like these...

road rash was too much fun and silicon vallley i never beat it either i wissh a sequel was made i was so young i want to give it another try but i do noe the last boss fight is a boxing match with you(as a kangaroo) and some gorilla! to much fun

I had the 3DO version (plus the Game Gear's). Road Rash is one of the few games that give me an evil grin. He He.

I played the BALLS out of that game on like 3 platforms. One of the best soundtracks in VG history. 8)

This alwasy gets the job done:

InuYasha secrets of the cursed mask. A lot of people didn't like this game, but oh the memories. I tend to hate turned based RPGs, but this one was my favorite. I didn't know it got a 5.3 on Gamespot until today.

Dr. Mario was one of the first video games that I ever got. My grandfather liked to play this game, he gave it to me with his NES when I was 3.

Something more recent, but nonetheless nostalgic.

The last of the Medal of Honor games that fall into the "great" category, this entry had the production values of a high-budget movie. The fact Steven Spielberg himself helped produce it doesn't hurt this impression. Combine atmospheric levels, quirky humor, great multiplayer, and one of the best video game soundtracks ever created, and you've got one of the greatest FPS games of all time.
