The way I see it, Nintendo is trying to repeat the huge sales it made with the Wii.
But the Wii was a console that focused on casual gamers and it worked. The problem that Nintendo created was that they didn't realize that casuals were not willing to buy another console that just looked like an update (WiiU + bad marketing).
To make things worse, PS4 and XBone have similar architecture, something that can ease the work for developers to create the same game for these platforms. Different story with the WiiU, considering the weak processing power (compared to the others) and the few adopters of this console. It's simple to conclude where the focus of the developers will be.
Nintendo's WiiU days are already grim. Only time will tell how far will the WiiU fall. :roll:
