I don't think Modnation or Mario Kart should count, but if those are included, then definitely Modnation Racer's.

I usually just separate kart racing into it's own racing genre When I think of arcade racers, I think Need for Speed, Burnout, Midnight Club, Split Second etc. For kart racers you have Modnation Racer's, Sonic Allstars Team Racing Mario Kart, Diddy Kong Racing, Crash Team Racing, etc The two groups above have obvious similarities between all of them in terms of gameplay

I'm not a big racing fan, but I really enjoyed Need for Speed Underground 2 & Midnight Club: LA so I gave NFS: Hot Pursuit a go at my cousins a week or so back & I'm in love. I bought a PS3 not too long ago & still need to finish Uncharted 2, Demon's Souls & Killzone 2, but I've put them aside & borrowed NFS:HP which has stolen my interest for now. Mario Kart 64 was alright but I hated the Wii version & haven't been very impressed with what I've seen of Modnation Racers.
NFS Hot Pursuit is not awesome. Far from it actually

Need For Speed: Time Trial While Dodging Lunatic AI Drivers would have given a much more accurate depiction of the game. If you try to get golds on all the events, you'll spend ~5 minutes of a race or pursuit to get gold since they're all super easy, then multiple tries on time trials that can take up a lot of your time. I felt like all I ever did on that game was dodge the AI drivers swerving into the opposite lane making them easier for me to hit. Very frustrating. I quit playing about half way through. GT5 is much better.

BUT THE SPIKE STRIPS. I don't understand how you can't love that game. So much cool. Why doesn't every county have Lambo cop cars? I didn't have much of a problem the civilian cars either. You crazy
