I cant choose, but it would have to lie somewhere in the hundreds of easter eggs scattered throughout MGS2 and MGS3.

Hereis a video of some of the ones in MGS2. Its a two parter actually and even then it doesn't even catch 1/10 of them. :lol: I highly recommend watching, some hilarious stuff.

Also thisfight in Mario RPG was the most awesomely unexpected fight ever.

John Romero's head on a spike in the last boss from Doom 2.

MGS4 - act4

John Romero's head as the real final boss. Further elevevated by the fact that what the final boss said "To win the game you must kill me, John Romero" backwards.

Shadow Moses in MGS4 is FULL of Easter eggs in terms of ghosts, codec calls, flashbacks, nods to the original MGS etc. Im gonna have to say it probably is the greatest Easter Egg as far as I am concerned, but I also have to give a special mention to Kratos in Mortal Kombat 9 along with the various throwbacks in the game to previous MK title.

Talking to an Enclave soldier at the oil rig via some hidden codes in a computer in Fallout 2. Those games have some funny dialogue :P.

The Office Space theme in F.E.A.R. was pretty cool.

The scarab gun from halo 2. It was so well hidden, took me a couple tries to get it since you hsd to board that banshee right on the checkpoint.

That was an easter egg? I always thought the monty python bridge of death reference was pretty funny.

Also, Quest for Glory games had a ton of easter eggs. Loyal and Hardy appear out in the desert randomly in QFG3, the Saurus Salesman in QFG2, etc. The series had a ton of them.

Shame it was a game not to be, I thought maybe Konami was doing creative advertisement for an upcoming game in its early development phase by checking the fan response from the gameplay in the MGS3 dream sequence.
