So many FPS's tread on each others toes so much that it's nearly hard to go back to what went before. Rechargeable health a good example? Deus Ex is a game that I could still see myself playing in 10 or 15 years time and still enjoying it just as much. Deus Ex is definitely my choice too.
Blood. Amazing level design ( from moving train to carnival circus to a shipwreck ), excellent weapons ( tesla gun and voodoo doll FTW) , alot of different enemies ( from monks to cerberus to flying demons to rats to zombies and even damn mimes ) and amazing quotes from older horror movies
