Alan wake doesnt even look that good.....and at any rate....its been been shown running on a DX10 quad core PC....so dont expect it to look anything like that on the 360...

And whats the reason for Real Life again?

Uhm no. The X360 was already outdated before it was released. 7800GTX -79xx series, X19xx series... Those cards ran circles around the X360.

Gears used small corridors, with small non-destructable environments. This is not because of PC hardware, rather, no games are out right now to take advantage of PC hardware, sans crysis. You might as well compare FNR3 to GeOW

Most GEoW screenshots look horrible, the game looks 100x better in motion.

yes. i found Halo 2 SP dull as well. Bungie admitted they didnt pay as much attention to it as it needed.

about Far Cry...i dont really know. the actual shooting and running around/driving around the islands just seemed...boring to me. it wasnt satisifying to shoot someone or anything, but that is my opinion._en1gma_

I agree. The funnest part about it was using the rediculous (spelling?) draw distance to snipe people. Other then that it was farely average in the gameplay department. The AI could be tough at times, but that was somewhat frustrating more then it was fun. None of the weapons really stood out or are that memorable. At least there was something of a cool story presentation, despite the story being pretty cliched itself. The multiplayer was almost non-existent. This is where my hesitation with Crysis is at. I'll be disapointed if I have to wait for a good MOD to get released before Crysis is worth the purchase.

Halo 2's SP was pretty good in my opinion. It just felt too much like the "middle chapter" kind of like the Clone Wars movie. Not enough of a satisfying ending or anything. I am hoping that Halo 3 brings the A-game for the SP.

Doh I didn't even notice the pics on the right, I thought people were saying that the left pics were ingame....ugh I need to sleep..

yep yep. i agree.

I only liked Halo 2's campaign for the story and for the coop. otherwise, it was all multiplayer.

I have faith in Bungie with Halo 3's SP, however. they admitted that multiplayer was the very main focus with Halo 2 and that it shouldve been better. it's going to have to be good if it is going to end an epic trilogy.. :D

its pretty obvious which is real and which is fake...and it is easier to make something look real by making the pictures very small...not that Crysis doesnt have great graphics

Physhics for this game are going to be just as important if it does look THAT good. What a way to hype a game.Shame not everyone is going to be able to run it like that.Riviera_Phantom

So we're supposed to think that the developers tracked down a run down shack in the middle of the jungle to replicate instead of modeling their own? It's just clear that these are either fake or made specifically for the comparison none of the ingame footage and stills I've seen come close to these.

That "shack in the middle of the jungle" could easily be found anywhere in Hawaii or any other tropical locations. That kind of stuff is super common. You can pull out of a Taco Bell and see stuff like that all the time. All the developers would need is a camera. Or they could have even purchased the photo from a photographer that sells these types of pictures online.

Also, the Sonic Adventure team traveled to South America for inspiration... If they could do it...
