GT 5 vs GT 4 comparison

Here is devshot of GT 4 in higher resolution. Did this guys do anything for the last several years? No any changes at all:

nice observation, the cars in gt 5 are also have more defined features, eg the lights on the mazda in the gt 4 pic look flat.

Still the best looking racing game hands down so that doesn't really matter now does it? PS2_ROCKS

I didnt know you guys stare at the cars when you play, because when i play a racer im looking at the next turn, and cant help but cringe when i see 2d trees and crappy textures. Forza 2 atleast doesnt use 2d backrounds and trees.

Forza > GT 4 in graphics. GT 4 = GT 5 in graphics.

So obviously Forza 2 > Forza > Gt 5 > Gt 4

Most people are not staring at the trees when they play. If you want to see pretty trees then go play Oblivion or something. Its a racer, the main focus is the track and any cars in front of you. As for the 2D background thing, check the videos and screenhots and tell me if its really 2D.

First Forza on X360 looks MUCH better then GT 4. Nobody knows about GT 5 but Polyphony would better do something with graphics.

GT4 opening was awesome.

I can't wait for GT5's opening. Even the trailer shows promise. If you mean GT5 retains GT4's awesomeness, then thanks.

Im a fanboy because im bashing a game that that i was excited about, until i watched the videos and saw that all is improved over GT4 is the car models and lighting? Watch the video again, the trees arnt 3d. Meaning they put more focus on the cars then the environments.

If they did then wow. Ive played alot of racers in my time, and i was impressed by forza 2s foliage and gameplay. And I know its not done, but it isnt a giant step from GT4, and if they want to keep it @ 1080p60 then i dont see alot more polys going into the foliage.

Forza 1 had graphics of Need FOr Speed Hot Pursuit

Forza 2 cant even compete with PGR3 graphically, yet alone GTHD even with the 2d backgrounds.

Whome are you kidding, man? :D You think nobody play GT 4, where photomode means you can place your car in exactly special place against 2D backgorunds, put your camera at exactly special another place and then wait 5 seconds while this one frame will be rendered?

So for you it will be good to know that "photomode" in Forza 2 means real time ingame picture with no any additions

BTW, NFS Hot Pursiut was the game in year something like 1998 and compare to any game even in 2000, it looked very bad.

The haters have no idea what Photo-realism actually is. They think the jump should be from going from GT 4 grasphics all the way to NFS Pro Street graphics, which are absolutly fantasy based.

Please get a clue fanboys. Stop grasping for straws when you're just owning yourself.

It depends what language do you use.In cow's language "photo realism" means "exactly as in GT 4", same as "good shooter" means "6.8 Killzone".

You just have to translate in english properly.
