You're right, of course. The problem is that opposers of GT5 don't watch the videos because

a) they're too lazy

b) they don't want to know how good this game looks in motion

so they resort to using slightly worse-looking screencaps to bash the game. It's a pathetic tactic, really, as all you'd have to do to refute those screens is to show them the video. Good luck trying to get them to, though.

Note: This is assuming that those fanboys are that biased. Otherwise, they just don't care about the vids and use the screens as "ownage".

I didn't get what you were going to say. I saw this video in HD and it looks exactly same as all this screenshots. Of course second in game part, not first CGI part similar to begining of prologue in GT 4.

The first half was said to be ingame on the 1UP podcast, also I assume he's talking about the second trailer from which you're getting the lone screenshot you feel necessary to use as the base of your comparison.

I didnt know you guys stare at the cars when you play, because when i play a racer im looking at the next turn, and cant help but cringe when i see 2d trees and crappy textures. Forza 2 atleast doesnt use 2d backrounds and trees.
